Objectives
The core objectives of moderation are to:
- Maintain a constructive and respectful community aligned with our Community Standards
- Keep discussions productive and organized
- Prevent disruption and misinformation
Our @community_moderators are community leaders who are entrusted to take up this important task. They are expected to:
- Act impartially
- Prioritize community wellbeing
- Lead by example
Moderation isn’t just the job of Community Moderators—it’s a shared commitment. Our guidelines provide a framework, but the real strength of this community lies in each member’s willingness to contribute positively, respectfully, and thoughtfully.

No-Politics Rule
While we encourage nuanced, fact-based conversations about policies that impact our members, we draw the line at discussions that become politically charged or divisive.
There’s a distinction between constructive policy discussions and disruptive political comments.
✓ Acceptable Discussions:
- Objective analysis of economic policies
- Factual discussions about legislative impacts
- Rational exploration of economic or regulatory topics
- Civil and thoughtful discussions that contribute to the community positively
✗ Not Allowed:
- Partisan rhetoric
- Personal attacks based on political affiliations
- Offensive stereotypes about political groups
- Inflammatory rhetoric targeting specific parties or politicians
- Derogatory comments that reduce individuals to their political beliefs
- Discussions that escalate into heated, unproductive arguments
- Name-calling of any kind
Offenders will be warned, silenced, followed by suspension. Please respect our community rules and other members who share this space.
User Accountability
Depending on the user’s disruption to the community, @admins may:
- Send an official warning via private message
- Silence the user
- Suspend the user
Appeal
We generally defer to our Community Moderators for their moderation decisions. If you believe a particular moderation action should be revisited, you can private message @admins. We may revisit the decision by discussing with Community Moderators on a case-by-case basis.
