I want to remind everyone about our no-politics rule.
To clarify, there’s a distinction between constructive policy discussions and disruptive political comments.
✓ Acceptable Discussions:
- Objective analysis of economic policies
- Factual discussions about legislative impacts
- Rational exploration of economic or regulatory topics
- Civil and thoughtful discussions that contribute to the community positively
✗ Not Allowed:
- Partisan rhetoric
- Personal attacks based on political affiliations
- Offensive stereotypes about political groups
- Inflammatory rhetoric targeting specific parties or politicians
- Derogatory comments that reduce individuals to their political beliefs
- Discussions that escalate into heated, unproductive arguments
- Name-calling of any kind
While we encourage nuanced, fact-based conversations about policies that impact our members, we draw the line at discussions that become politically charged or divisive.
Offenders will be warned, silenced, followed by suspension. Please respect our community rules and other members who share this space.
We will be incorporating this into our Moderation Guidelines.
