Okey so I’m starting an “Epic Fail Threads!” thread, I can think of three so far that were quite entertaining, feel free to add your favorites, or least favorites?! These aren’t necessarily the worst leases, they are just epic, and in a bad way.
Hello hello!
I guess I finally made it to the point I can make a thread. Sweet.
Anyway, I’ve had this Lexus since November 2016 (only started paying in January).
Before it I was financing an IS 250 which I was trying to get rid of because of the prior accidents. I was totally upside with the car but I did it anyway and they added the negative equity into my purchase.
Car payments went from $426 a month to $599 a month. MSRP was $39,309.45. Total price was $45,293.54.
I’m trying to get somet…
Vehicle Sticker: 34,800
With Taxes, etc: 36,334
Residual: $17,800
39-mos lease
12,000 miles per year
$9k down
$350 per month payment
NJ State Tax: 7%
I had them throw in:
Spoiler, Trunk Mats, Cargo Mat
Did I do okay on this lease?
I want to buy a beat up, abused, junk loaner car for $800 a month. Do you have a fleet of beat up junk, I mean loaners ,which I need?

I am looking for a loaner. I am an idiot who wants to spend hundreds of dollars per month on a beat up used junk aka loaner. Please advise me where I can get one.

LOL I just finished reading the Accord post, this is an epic post. Thanks for sharing.
The current lease “deal” that Chevy is offering for a 2021 Suburban requires such a large down payment. Specs: $599/month for 39 months.
$7,499 due at signing.
$0 security deposit.
The dealership I went to asked for me to just “check back later” because that’s “what they are offering” it was as if I couldn’t lease unless I was willing to pay 7.5k down.
Maybe because I was a very pregnant woman walking in and asking and wasn’t taken seriously but I am having my 4th kid. I need this vehicle. S…
this definitely goes here as well

Hopefully he was able to successfully get all that crap removed that they tacked onto that horrible deal.

Farmerboy sets out to lease M5
Guys I just joined and can’t make my own post so im piggybacking here
I want to assume a lease, I can easily pay off the whole lease one time (9 months) but BMWFS denied my application.
Is it possible to try and assume this car lease through a third party? Like for example, go to a private dealership or even BMW themselves, give them the cash so they can assume the lease under their name and hand over the car to me for the next 9 months?
I really want this lease, money is not even an issue.
$900 M3
Hello I am trying to get a lease for a recent BMW M3. I have no proof of income but I have sufficient money in my bank (more than enough to buy the car). My credit is only 700 because I am 19 and just started building credit.
I was thinking about some options…
pay for the entire lease up front + down payment +security
get a co signer
What do you guys suggest I do so I can get a lease? Thank you and please only helpful comments.

How dare you think I would even consider a beat up junk loaner?
There was another thread from a few months back about some rich foreign dude trying to do a straw purchase. Darn it I am having trouble finding it

Yeah “Rich”. Funny how actual rich foreigners never seem to have a problem getting whatever car they want. It’s amazing what you can get with a cashiers check instead of a credit check.

Cashiers check hard to get with briefcase full of non sequential 20’s. Banks ask questions.
