This was just posted 17% off but its florida…🚑 813AutoConcierge - Florida Infiniti! Low Broker Fee!

want to see what 2025 armada deals will be compared to the current “strong” lease deals for the QX80s. for those that are willing to forego the higher badge, wonder what a “strong” deal on like a armada pro-4x or platinum reserve would be which has most if not all of the goodies of a qx80

No thank you. I rather pay $100-120ish to avoid dealing with Nissan ghetto-ness.

Current Nissan (Ariya) lessee.

i havent had experience with nissan and infiniti dealer service? are they much different? the cars themselves use many same parts is my understanding. there is also talk about infiniti closing down all the dealerships and folding service into nissan dealerships…so what is the difference?

I had a 2018 qx60 and used Nissan for most oil changes because they were way closer. No complaints about that location.

But I wouldn’t assume the Armada will necessarily provide better value considering something has to give (can’t be an identical product at a lower price). Pathfinder didn’t provide a better value to QX60 for a long time.

I’m not in TX but was researching this as we want a large SUV/mini van as one of our next vehicles (the other one would be a luxury sedan).

QX80 deal in marketplace doesn’t look that appealing at around $1k per month. Maybe it is but based on what I saw for EVS, I was hoping for a score of over 10 years, this seems to be more like 8 yea

I owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit for 6-ish months before I dumped it. Fortunately I got a good black Friday deal so only lost a bit on the transaction vs. what I paid for it. While initially it was nice, it turned into a turd.

Here’s an example: Driving along using CarPlay (Waze) on a road trip. All electronics go blank. HVAC, entertainment, etc. then they randomly come on (but they always went out when you needed the navigation feature). When getting service, the answer was always; “they’re working on a software update to address that.”

The dealership experience was less than ok. Took it in for the recalled suspension bolts that had improper torque and were a safety recall. I had installed a nice dash cam so I checked the footage after the dealership visit. Tech used an impact gun to remove and reinstall the new bolts. No torque wrench was used. I got to have discussions with the regional manager on that issue.

McIntosh stereo was super nice. Car ran well most of the time (had some weird issues where you’d have to shut it down and restart like a computer once in a while). Drove well enough though my wife would routinely state; “this isn’t a BMW, slow down more in the corners.”

What finally did it for me was not a quality issue, but rather the seats just killed my back. The sport seats in the BMW X7 I currently have are miles better (as is the engine).

I cross shopped the Lexus TX and Toyota Sequoia to replace the Jeep. Local Lexus dealer was useless as everything “started at $10k over sticker”. Yeah, nah. Bye. I would seriously look at the TX. It’s pretty large inside. Toyota’s 3.5 V6 has had its share of issues. Not sure they’ve permanently fixed that yet.

Don’t forget about the 6.2l Chevy V8 wrist pin issues. Engines are dying and there’s no replacements available. Last I heard it was a 4 month backlog.

GL on your search.

My experience
Nissan - negative

  • racial generalization
  • affordability shaming
  • target sub-prime borrower with predatory practices
  • aggressive negotiation posture (laughing, walking out etc.)
  • LOL at you for asking loaner
  • OEM tire took 5 days to turn around
  • Still had to pay for full covered warranty tire
  • 2 of 5 dealers charges credit card fee

Nissan - Positive

  • It is somewhat cheaper than infiniti

Infiniti - Negative

  • It is somewhat expensive than Nissan

Infiniti - Positive

  • None of BS I listed for Nissan
  • They professionally declined aggressive offer instead of mocking laughs.
  • One of dealership is next to airport and allows park and fly, with courtesy pick and drop off at terminal during business hours. Although I don’t use but it is nice gesture.

Based on aforementioned, I highly advised you to consider Inifinti

Drove the xc90 maybe 2-3 years ago.

Very disappointing. Interior was not great quality. Infotainment screen looked like an ipad was tacked on. Driving expereince was meh at best.

I know several that own these that have shared similar lukewarm feelings.

Also not in the same class as what he’s asking about.

I know they tend to lease well, but … life is too short to drive a mediocre car.

I think the TX is a great choice.

Drove a Grand Highlander and we liked it. Room was good - not quite as big as the Navi we have now, but still pretty acceptable to the wife (can carry people in 3 rows PLUS some bags).

The TX was just coming out and was pretty nice as well. I drove 1 but we didn’t have the ability to wait for availability, etc. I would strongly consdier the TX as well
