Longer terms hide rolling in negative equity since it can’t be residualized. The trade part of the deal may not be as positive as you think it is.
I’d want more detail on all of the moving parts so I didn’t end up paying for 3 cars instead of 2.
I didn’t realize there was a trade on that deal. I just thought it was a straight 36 month lease on a Daytona or Wagoneer S.
Employee pricing is a red flag since it does not combine with available conditional incentives. You need a dealer who will beat employee pricing on their own and has dealer coupons to spend, on top of whatever conditional incentives you qualify for.

Thanks for this!!! I will keep that in mind. Currently negotiating the Wagoneer S launch and then if they give us the good deal on that then we told them we would negotiate the Daytona which they said the deal looked doable. So we will see. The good thing is we can walk away if we don’t like it or if they try some shady things.

How does each particular deal break down in terms of discount, etc? Personally I don’t think that an R/T Daytona is worth effectively 400/mo. Wagoneer S is subjective I suppose. What are the discounts being offered before rebates and do they include coupons? Ideally you would want a total of eight dealer coupons between the two deals, 5 for the Charger amd 3 for the Wagoneer. Is that what you are getting?

@ilovecheapleases - OP can always keep grinding until they get close to their target. However, one has to ask whether it is worth it just to save a few hundred bucks.
neither car is worth $400 by itself. so without seeing the deal breakdown, it doesn’t sound great

What exactly is the role of a moderator here?
I only ask because when I see an uniformed, bad recommendation that isn’t in the best interest of a community member coming from someone running the site I wonder what the liability and ethics of doing so are if/when it hurts said user.
