I guess I could see that. The 6.4 is motor that runs hot to begin with. I was thinking with the new full float axle the towing capacity was increased…but apparently not.
Yeah, that additional weight of the V8 is a lot of it though. Takes the GCWR down for sure.
4xe is coming to gladiator for 2025.
By LH selling out 4xe’s during Covid make stellantis think we “want” this drivetrain. SMH
Agreed to that statement. The deals now on gladiators are 10k off msrp, they can’t sell that thing.
A large part of it is that Stellantis needs the carbon credits…and the hybrids are receiving government 
But still funny ha.
I really don’t mind the 4xe platform, but I wouldn’t pay much of the pricing they’re at now. Last year and in ‘21 these were a huge bang for the buck. As you know.

A lot of people on Jeep forums are calling 2024 Gladiator update a fail because there was no 4xe option. Couple years ago these same people were saying a hybrid Jeep was a trash idea. The update is basically just a new grill and infotainment screen.
I know I called the Gladiator dudu last night, but I need a replacement for my Crown Vic.
If it’s cheap enough, I’ll probably consider it for Jobsite duties.

Agree, Gladiators need some beefy tires and stanced out slightly. Otherwise the proportions look terrible.
