Agree 100% that is totally awesome. Drove 2 392s as we are looking one for the kid in the spring, but also recently drove the new 2024 X and while it wasn’t as over the top as the 392 it was $20k less fully loaded. That $20k is a lot of awesome as well.

If we’re talking no 6.4L and $20k less, I’m going Bronco.

Have you considered that?

Yes. Bronco was described to us as a “Lego clown car” and a “wannabe JL” so that was that.

I was hoping for a Gladiator 392 at the ‘24 Gladiator reveal today. I’ll have to keep holding my breath.

Meh, but that gladiator looks like such Dudu, man …

I’ll second this. I daily my M340i but all it takes is one drive in the 392 and I’m smiling ear to ear. Love this thing but yeah not worth $90k and definitely don’t like the absurd rent charge.

Edit - I’ve driven fair share of cars, some flashy too but never gotten looks. This thing turns heads everywhere I go. Very strange feeling lol

Bronco is a wannabe wrangler. I wouldn’t drive any of them.

In terms of the 392’s not being worth $90k…they were basically $90k early last year, were they not? My standard Rubicon 392 had a sticker of like $84k and change. Add the XR package and you’re basically at $90k. I think peoples perspectives are changing because a fence post can no longer cash these in for a 5 figure equity check all day long. The pricing hasn’t really drastically changed imo (at least not until this new $2,500 increase takes effect…if it hasn’t already) :man_shrugging:t2:

I miss having a truck bed

I’ll agree with this. I’ve driven my fair share of vehicles and the Rubicon 392 is towards the top of the list in terms of fun. It’s a stupid vehicle and I love it. :sunglasses:

With the rent charge, I’d say it makes more sense to finance at this point…if planning to keep for a longer period of time.

I’d probably lose some money on this by the time I sell later in the year but I never was in it to make stacks anyway. All I pray for is not losing my shirt driving these great machines lol. Smiles per gallon on this definitely worth losing a little if it comes to that imo. Going off roading to flex some 392 muscle in oct already haha

The new Rubicon x now has pretty much all the same shizz as the 392 except that glorious V8. Looks and specced the same down to the bumpers, hood and tires.

One kicker for us is the kid pulling a ski boat. X has the full floating axle and 5k towing cap. The 392 is still at 3.5k on towing cap.

Yeah I’d say then that’s probably a better value buy. I love they gave a performance exhaust button on this thing because it’s loud and obnoxious and I do love me some of that, but not all the time. A more civilized me in 10 years from now could probably do very good with the rubi x equivalent of the time.

Dad of the year get him the 392!
My parents bought me a 03 cobra and a motorcycle in hs!

And you repay them by buying a Mirai???

Awesome! Be sure to share some photos. I’d love to go do some real off-roading, but I’d want to be driving a vehicle other than my own.

Yeah, the Rubicon X is honestly pretty nice. I’d never get over not having the V8 but for a kid that is a BA machine still.

Did Jeep not up the towing capacity for the MY24’s? I was thinking that I heard somewhere the 392’s are now at the 5k as well.

Still a nice car, decades later…minus the interior. I would’ve killed to have a Cobra when I got my license.

392 still at 3.5k AFAIK.
