These days, there’s likely to be a bounty on the person hoarding that much paper

You know who does a great job painting garages?

Painters. Just saying. Next time she wants that ceiling touched up, they’ll have those walls painted lickity split.

I’ve heard of these painter folk. Heard they also paint things higher on my list of priorities…

I’ve been itching to buy an E36…you guys think its a foolish buy? I don’t wanna shell out more than 10K for it…I came really close once but just couldn’t justify dropping money on something like that while I am in law school.

It depends on your finances. Clean E36’s are going up in value. (only referring to the M3)

I have to agree that clean E36 M3s are going up in value, but you have to really commit to keeping them up cosmetically and mechanically - they seem to have a lot of plastic and rubber bits that don’t hold up well over time and tend to snowball. Plus finding one that hasn’t been trashed is getting harder and harder.

I’m probably biased, but if you’re looking for a taste of that E36 M3 feel at a slightly lower cost of entry, an E46 330i ZHP will give you some of that. You can find solid, well maintained drivers for considerably less than a similarly kept E36 M3.

ZHP’s are great cars. I was very close to buying one 5 years ago but opted for an E92 335i. It definitely would’ve been a more practical/reliable choice especially after what I did to that car.

I’ve only had mine a couple months - but I am obsessed with it.

I have a pretty clean e39 with m package which I plan on keeping for a while.

Wish I got an m5 e39 few years back.

I love the E39 M5, but the upkeep is more than I want to deal with at this point in my life. Plus the E46 has a smaller garage footprint, which is important when I have outdoor toys to store 8 months a year…

Wait til you’re finished with school. The air has gone out of the collector car bubble… and the non-M E36 isn’t a collector car anyway and won’t be for a very, very long time.

Bottom line, just wait.

M850i cab (thanks @nextlevelautobrokers) and a VW e-Golf at the moment. The Jeep went a couple of months ago.

I agree it isn’t a collector car- ok to wait on those…

I’m not sure I agree that collector car bubble has deflated at all - if BAT is anything to go by. Small cross section of the market granted, but some things are still getting silly money.

Yeah definitely gonna wait out on it. Thanks for the advice guys & keeping me on the logical path lol

The little one’s ride…
