woah! I did not expect that. But pretty crazy. To be able to get 360+ range for <$400/month with 0 down. I think the highland leases are becoming competitive with a lot of the leasehackr stuff.

@mmian , dont forget this,

On my lease pdf they show 7500 credit but never show the $250 credit which I already paid at time of order. So my down-payment is $250 higher as compare to what they show on the tesla ordering ap.
Is that normal. ?
$1053.61 vs $1303.61.
I ask agent and he said i will pay $1303.61

Did they pull the 250 from your account? Or was a hold unless you backed out?

CC shows its pulled out.
8B or 7D should reflect $250 credit.

If im not mistaken its reduced from your MSRP. I never got a tesla before, hopefully someone can chime in

the $250 is an order fee, it’s not a hold or a deposit. It’s in addition to the price of the car. It used to be a deposit, but they changed it a year or two ago. Just think of it as an extra $250 to the cost that they hide. You can see them charging it in the estimated taxes and fees

But for some reason, his DAS breakdown a few post up is different than asking on contract. Thats whats throwing me off

That 250 is included in the price of the car $36900 as shown below on the order sheet.
If I pay them $250 in advance to place an order and dont took the order then its gone which i can understand. But if i collect the delivery then that $250 should be like advance payment towards final payment.

Look at last line of $1053.61 DAS

I can swear if i ever get a lease or finance document from the finance guy and he didnt make mistakes to profit his dealership. And I have done many deals in last 30 years or so.
Once leasing Mini Cooper the finance guy has to shred the lease copies 3 times before getting it right. All 3 times i caught him.
Once for Lexus finance guy got me and sneak in 30k miles instead of 36k miles and i find that error after 2 years, I called him and he swear it was always 30k not 36k miles.

Does anyone give me a referral so I can use the credit? Considering the m3 LR

Here ya go, :+1:

Got an e-mail today for a 30 day FSD trial again today… will gladly accept it, but won’t subscribe as Autopilot is perfectly fine for my needs.

Will see, may even decide to sell the Y as it would save me $855/mo :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: minus the negative equity haha

Between Mirai and Model Y, you must be swimming in negative Equity.

Haha, yes and no… as long as I have enough $$$ to go to Hawaii just-one-more-time :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :call_me_hand:

Since the beginning, even before I got the Mirai I knew that it wasn’t going to hold value.
To me it was like a “cheap lease” with fuel provided from Toyota and the extra $7500 check rebate from CA sealed the deal. I used it (Edit: The Mirai not the check lol) as a conquest for the Ioniq 5, so already WINNING haha

Tesla Y was purchased to be a keeper, as was the car I wanted at the time (sold Tesla 3 to buy this with a hefty $21K “equity”-“as in whatever I paid in the year I owned it plus the real equity” back in 2022) and sometimes when we get bored we start thinking about selling, perhaps-time will tell. But yeah I paid $76K OTD in 2022 now maybe get $36K for it if I sell, will see how I like the Ioniq 5 coming next week

Tesla realized that price cuts are just as effective at ensuring lessees have no equity.
