Tesla. New Model Y, Bundles, discounts, buyouts and referrals/loyalty

For most people, it is dumb to lease.

It takes time and work to get great deals and America is the nation of drive thrus, iOS, and everything else that makes life easy and simple for customers.

Noticed on carbuyerusa tesla $$$ are up a bit, mine went from $29,000 to about $34,000 now, Carvana was two weeks ago $29,800

2022 Y 19.5K miles 7 seater

Edit: Just updated Carvana… $30,200

But do you trust the supervisor?

That’s not really meaningful if they don’t honor their offers

You can easily beat Maxvana offers on private party sales based on personal experience in 2024.

Oh, yes most definitely when the time comes mine will be a PP sale for sure :+1: I planned on keeping the Tesla for a longer time than my usual car cycles. This was just for informational purposes that, I took quotes once in a while to see how numbers were moving

Model 3 Standard Range is no longer available and Long Range RWD is now the base option. I assume SR wasn’t as popular when the LR was less expensive if including the tax credit.

lease was way lower on the SR RWD though. $299 per month vs $389 on this variant (with whatever default downpayment they have)

I order M3 RWD SR Black exterior and interior.
They give a $2430 price adjustment and 7500 lease incentives on 10/36 lease.

My monthly coming at $338 with $4233 as down. Includes Tax and fees. Car selling price is $39700. Tax is $1548. MF is .00243.

Should I go with low down-payment 0 to 1000?

make sure you take a Tesla referral with you as well for another $1k off. But yes would generally recommend lower down payments

I placed the order yesterday, it was in inventory in transit to dealer. It assigned me a VIN already. Will this referral still works after they already assign me a VIN.
I couldnt figure out what was the RV they used? Black color is extra 1.5k .

You should be able to ask someone to apply it? Maybe?

In terms of residual, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. You can’t buy out the lease, or sell it, so it’s kind of irrelevant. If you’re comfortable with the monthly payment, that’s the only thing that matters

Looks like $1000 referal dont apply to SR, only to LR . If I choose LR then my monthly coming at $385 plus $4288 DAS.
To me 276 mile range is enough on SR.
I have L2 charger at home from my previous EV .

How you get the referal in their.

You also have 2k New York EV rebate and your tax and fees are lower too.
You still have a DAS of $2808 due even with $0 down-payment.

If i place a new order i get to the referal. But i already place the order last night so will try to figure out how to add the referal to an existing order. Or bite the bullet and order a new one and loose $250 from previous order.

Just compare it whats cheaper doing the deal with referral code and losing the 250 vs what you have now. Before you do, try to fight for adding it to your existing deal. Goodluck

I checked and once order is placed you can not add the referal code. So i will cancel or wont pick . I ordered another one with the referal link. This time i pick grey stealth. So that reduce it with $1500 for color adjustment and extra credit of $1000 for the referal.

Good luck man! Those numbers are looking much better now!

Pickup is on monday. Thanks for the referral.
Asking finace to reduce the down-payment from 3k to 1k. That put me at $383 per month with $1k DAS. Tax, fees all included.
Car has no Floor mats guess need to buy those. It do come with the adapter so i can use my Lectron L2 J1772 charger.
