It’s 30% conversion for the early adopters at the vrry front of the line, the conversion rate will drop as Tesla works its way through the preorders.

Plenty if companies will turn down $5b in revenue if it costs them $6b to earn said revenue.

Maybe it’s to allow for the reworked parts to be reworked

I WANT! There’s a lot of Tesoyla Boys in my neighborhood and would love this as a joke on my Bolt.

Makes no sense. Try again.

Tesla is not allowed to be questioned. Got it. You are digging the hole deeper and deeper.

You just posted sales figures tables, dude. Pot calling kettle?

Tesla is like a box of chocolates

If this factory shutdown doesn’t fix all the Model 3 production snafus, Tesla is in some BIG trouble later this year. That is, unless investors bail them out again with a capital raise.

You had your opinions of them already, go back and read your own posts.

Is the prepaid fully autonomous mode vaporware now?

https://arstechnica.com/cars/2018/04/why-selling-full-self-driving-before-its-ready-could-backfire-for-tesla/?amp=1

It is called accelerated development in some industries. Basically, it allows buyers to be part of the testing team for data gathering for continuous improvement. This system works well in something products, especially when there are a group of enthusiasts, but definitely not on automatous/self driving features. That is why I said it all along, TSLA is not being very responsible here.

We call that Beta testing, and it usually indicates that the product is not yet ready for prime time.

“Beta testing” is what we have too, but it is focus on a small controlled group of users, usually developers themselves or selected volunteers within the company. What Google did with Waymo is what I called Beta testing. Accelerated development refers to company launch a non-fully tested product or features in a large scale and rely on general paid customers for data gathering.

Uh oh

Tesla pounds its chest about supposedly inaccurate reporting, but when the screws are twisted and they are asked to provide details about what was inaccurate with the reporting, they go silent.
Just like the Trump admin! I swear, we should start calling Tesla the West Coast White House (of lies)!

Aren’t they alternative facts?
