Special orders are not a thing. They just tell you that and hope to get an allocation for what you are looking for.
Highest offer so far on those siennas are $15k over. We are assigning them tomorrow once allocation loads into system.

For hybrid it sounds like it will get worse. From what we were told is that Hybrids are going to get even more scarce

Honestly, after owning a Highlander with the same hybrid powertrain as the Sienna, I would never get a gas engine over it if I had the choice. It never felt like a penalty or that it was down on power versus the V6.
I also owned a Honda Clarity PHEV, and that had possibly the worst hybrid engine I’ve ever driven. Full EV mode was great, but when that gas engine kicked in, it sounded like I was driving a Yaris that got kicked in the balls.

It’s insane how far behind Honda is with hybrid power trains compared to Toyota. I still can’t believe to this day after the success of the Prius that they can’t get off their lazy asses and actually put out some offerings in some of their most popular cars.
No hybrids in the civic OR the Pilot. It also took them forever to bring the CRV Hybrid out to market. At least we got the Insight
