Signed! 2024 Mercedes EQS 450 SUV | $114.5K MSRP | 24/7.5 | $485 + tax | First DAS | ZERO MSDs

Picked up a CVP 2024 EQS SUV this past week and pulled ahead my former 2023 EQS SUV by a whopping 10 months early. Last month I received a Reignite certificate from selling my old E class to a MB dealer prior to lease end to capture the post covid $8k equity on it. Apparently since the lease was ‘bought out’ I qualified for reignite. Also, MBFS, through lease pull ahead, will wave 5 of the 10 payments. I knew for this to work out even or better in the end, I needed to be at a certain per month target which I thought was feasible with the reignite on a remaining 2024 CVP car. Plus when I added the $1500 needed for replacement run flats in about a month (close to 4/32nds but enough to pass turn in for now), it was a no brainer. Also, who knows what will happen with the $7500 ev rebate with all the changes taking place. I’d also benefit from 2024 updates including:

  1. Larger battery
  2. Heat pump
  3. Hyper screen (which I think is actually a bit much….)
  4. Improved brake system (huge plus as the 2023 ones were AWFUL)
  5. Free Electrify America (2025 reduced this to $1k for 2 years). I used ~$6k worth of EA in 14 months lol

Started my search and only found 4 within 500 miles from me. Yikes… not like the old days of massive inventory. I put offers on 3 but 2 sold in a day. The one that was left is the one I wanted the most - perfect spec (aside from the wheels) and perfect color combo. A few back and forth calls with the sales manager got the deal done. I felt there was still meat on the bone but still accepted as I did not want it to get away and it was well below what my target was.

I’m one of the few out there that, aside for the ho-hum looks, thinks the EQS SUV is a fantastic family car. The range on these is superb and they’re so comfortable to long distance trips. Had zero problems with our old one and happy to get into a new one.

And the other 5 payments?

That’s on me to cover. Hence I had a target price to be under to make this work. I was there and then some. And then there is the save from not having to spend $1500 on new tires plus trending over miles.

Congrats, nice Emerald Green! You wouldn’t pay $1500: either a lot more for brand new tires or a lot less for used ones.

I was conservative with my estimate

Couldn’t jump on used ones if I kept it as I needed 10 more months of life ha.

Yes Emerald green for the win! Hard to find and I heard they discontinued it on a number of MB models in 2025.

That’s amazing, congratulations! I had always thought the $7.5k EV credit was for MSRP < $80k. Has that changed or am I just a recipient of fake news?

not true for leases.

Congrats, that’s a really great deal! :+1:

Wow this is impressive, congrats! My wife misses her Emerald Green C300 all the time, great color.
