Signed: 2023 Nissan Ariya Evolve+ AWD "No Loyalty" Deal & Review [NNJ Only]

15k mile lease is perfect for Nissan then.

Everybody doing a lease return is going to have to pony up another $1500 for new tires and Nissan dealers will have scores of Ariya available with brand new shiny tires.

Finally Ariya has something in common with EQS.
50% price point but a 100% tires wear.

What’s that?

There are two different OEM tires that Nissan puts on the Ariya. Most of the FWD models seem to have the Dunlops, the AWDs the Bridgestones.

Dunlop Grandtrek, which have a tread wear rating of 320.
Bridgestone Alenza, which have a tread wear rating of 500.

A 320 rating is definitely low.

I wouldn’t call it a ā€œstarter tireā€, but a tire that is favoring features other than tread life. Whether it’s a good fit for an EV as heavy as the Ariya, which itself is heavy for an EV, I can’t say, but it’s the source of a lot of complaints from owners.

The 500 rating on the Bridgestone is on the low side, but not outlandishly so.

But in theory for FWD you can rotate the tires and get 640 rating LOL

MDR, did you get a reply to your post? I’m in SoCal too and finishing up a Bolt lease this soon, I’d be in for this.

You can’t have this in SoCal. These deals are for New England only as Nissan is throwing extra rebates in the region.

Of course, the February/Presidents Days incentives are just around the corner. Who knows if Nissan will take this deal, or a similar one, to other regions.

True about that. Also, I think Nissan’s fiscal year around sometime around March or something like that.

My local dealer i got frontier from said he would give me 10 percent off any instock. I’m gonna wait and see what February incentives bring.

Loyalty of $1000 will eat some of those Leaf payments.

It’s going to bring 2024 model year Ariya’s, since they are no longer making 2023. I don’t see Nissan extending the program, once the 2023’s are gone, until the 2024’s start building up.

This is interesting because my dealer told me that they had to mark the VIN as sold before it could be redeemed as a promo code on Wallbox.

Either they’re mistaken (likely) or perhaps your friends VIN was accidentally (or purposely) marked by a dealer as sold for the purposes of the Wallbox redeem?

That is absolutely the way it should’ve been handled but unfortunately not the case. Wallbox/Nissan are aware of the issue and looking to put safeguards in place to avoid this from reoccurring. Their authorization/verification process was completely lacking in favor of convenience and ease of use. That loophole in the wrong hands has now caused them some problems that requires a much needed fix. I’m hoping they will do right and provide one to my friend but it’s taking a lot longer than it should as they ā€œinvestigateā€ the matter.

Ordered the below all-weather mats and pleased to report the fit, quality and price is very good. No complaints.
