Thanks to this forum, and special shout-out to @avocautos who helped with ideas and feedback (thanks so much HK!), got this deal.
I felt it was decent for a higher MSRP X3 xDrive30i loaner in NorCal – I had grinded through most of the loaners in stock at the Bay Area dealerships – no one really wanted to offer anything more than 11-12%
(and very often marked up the MF). I also fell in love with Dark Graphite with Mocha Vernasca Leather color combo. Given we have a toddler my wife and I decided flying down to SoCal to pick up a deal there was a non-starter due to potential COVID exposure. Didn’t quite match my screaming first lease deal on a BMW 330i deal in 2017, but I’ll take it.

Originally, the sales associate gave me full $1000 discount on OL code from recent Feeding America test drive event, but somehow finance only wanted to give the $500 amount, so GM reduced the selling price $500 to honor their quote of $433+tax on my deal.
One tip: I often felt giving a flat $2k down (knowing the drive-off on all these X3 loaners was close since no full reg fee and having ~$150 cap cost reduction) number worked the best to try to normalize most of the scores instead of asking for a straight drive-offs with no cap cost reduction number. Also, I dictated the terms – basically said I want X monthly payment with $2k driveoffs + $3.5k (7xMSDs) = $5.5k out the door was the best way to pit the dealers against each other. Eventually I go this deal by taking dealer 1 and pitting with dealer 2, then getting the best result and pitting that against dealer 3, and did so for about 4-5 dealers to get down to the target price I wanted (since most didn’t start anywhere close).
EDIT: Added a few pics.
