You need more passive income - and that will improve your disposition in life greatly :stuck_out_tongue:

Your tax credits are very important to us, please continue to hold

$90bn in tangible assets tied up in the graveyard of empires.

Where we all knew it would eventually end up, along with pallets of $100 bills

With more inbound, so I hear.

Point of sale incentives sound like an easy way for dealers to not provide any type of dealer contribution. They will try and bake in that EV incentive as if it is from their generosity

No different than a dealer advertising a sale price with the manufacture incentives already baked in saying “look! It’s already 5-10% off!” and not giving any dealer discount.

At least the dealer has a relationship with the manufacturer. This would be money coming straight from the federal government and shouldn’t be part of advertised pricing.

I would prefer a system where you can file after purchase and then receive reimbursement to avoid the dealer games.

Shouldn’t and isn’t are 2 different things. Have you seen Tesla’s advertised pricing?

The Senate is voting on a CR this morning to keep the gov’t open until Dec 3rd. If they do…

Likely on hold until then. The longer the delay, the smaller they likely will be.

Stay tuned, it’s another C-SPAN day.

The House passed the CR and it’s being sent for signature. No shutdown, no EV tax credits (yet?). Feel free to snooze until after Thanksgiving.

You’re saying that it appears the intent of this administration / legislature is to include this tax credit to lessors?

Have you heard a rumor or read anything for a solid source that this credit might apply to lessors?

Nope - It has always been for whomever buys the car first, which as you know for leases is the captive. There’s nothing in either version about making the captive pass that through.

Okay, ya that’s exactly how I have always understood it as well. Would be way to good to be true if that tax credit was passed down to the lease consumer. Wishful thinking lol
