Looking for the same. $1k is not going to be possible on either as far as I can tell. Definitely not remotely close on a 2024 model. On a 2023 S500, you need a discount of around 25% on top of Amex to get there.

I am looking to find the best possible 36month/10K lease on one of the following PHEV models particularly if there are any loaners or courtesy vehicles. In the order of priority (with the goal to utilize EV lease credit of $7500 available on any vehicle)
- Mercedes GLE 450e: 4Matic w/ Parking, Driver Assistance Package and heated front/rear seats/steering wheel. Optional if 3rd row seating is available
- BMW X5 50e: xDrive Climate/Driver assistance/premium package . Optional if 3rd row seating is available
- VOLVO XC90 Recharge(T8): Plus Trim, 7 - seater
Prio 2: In case of unavailability of above PHEV within reasonable range, willing to step-down to pure Gas/Mild-Hybrids of the above
Important Options are: Panoramic Moonroof/Sunroof, Parking 360 & sensors, Heated front/rear seats/steering wheel, (ideally) non-black/charcoal interior
Timeline: Ready now (ideally acquire latest by Dec end)

Thanks Max. Agree I get the same sense reading through posts. Was just hoping perhaps some EOY deals preferably on loaners might get a good price with not massive difference in effective payment but that could be wishful thinking
There’s just too much of a gap to be made up by small enhancements of discounts. The GLE and X5e deals might be some of the worst in the history of LH.
