I also posted on LH thread a request for a quote on MB, one of the posters (trusted hackr @Urussus) advised me in no uncertain terms that “no one here will work with you”. I didn’t listen to him and reached out to brokers directly. I would reccomend you contact @AutoNinjas and ask to be connected with Jed. He handles Mercedes Benz deals.
But before you reach out to him, I would suggest you do a little bit of research about the car and its current market, so you know your stuff before you speak with him.
MB’s are generally terrible if you want a great deal, especially on a lease, their dealerships (which is controlled by carmaker) still operate like it’s 2022 and we are under COVID crunch. As a result, don’t expect any good discounts on MBs in general (with the exception of EV cars).
On top of that, you are asking for a deal on expensive, high end MB that I don’t think they would hoard in good times, let alone now. Do your research. Call around to few MB dealerships and ask if they EVER have loaner SL55s (I would be surprised if they do, it wouldn’t make sense to put such a car in service, it is just too much liability).
https://www.truecar.com (which you should take with grain of salt) claims that this car leases for $2025/mo for 36 mo @ 10000/mi/yr with “$2000 due at signing”. Don’t believe that “$2000 due at signing” on any of truecar’s ads, you will more likely be charged taxes and all fees and thousands in down-payment to get the monthly payment they advertise. But it never hurts to call around and ask, say “I saw this ad in true car, I wonder if you have this car with terms advertised”.
You can also go to Edmunds dot com and see what is the fair price for the car now, they track sales in the area and generate report based on sales data. You will get an idea what people around you pay for the car.
You can also utilize lease hackr calculator, very useful tool where you can put all kinds of numbers (MSRP, discount you want on a car, terms you want to sign a lease under and etc.), and it will tell you exactly what your cost will be, what you would have to pay upfront or what would it cost to roll everything into monthly payments.
You should do all this before you contact Jed.

Thankfully for Eric and Slick there’s reason to believe the LH community is extremely helpful for new buyers/leasers. Eric I thank you for the info as I will be calling a few dealers in the AM. Slick thank you for the heads up I reached out to a couple MB brokers on LH.
Guys like these should be promoted to trusted hackers and/or super supporters.

You’ve accumulated a fair amount of read time in the past couple years, didn’t occur to me when you first posted you might need some pointers.
Primary, this is a site to educate yourself on how to construct a good lease deal and negotiate for yourself. If you aren’t interest in that, you can reach out to Brokers and Dealers in the Marketplace to see if they have what you’re looking for.
You can always post a wanted ad like you first-did, it will end up here. Some Brokers/Dealers skim this thread periodically, many don’t.

And given you are looking for something specific, expand your search nationwide. You can opt to pickup in person or have it shipped (which I did on my last one).
If you find a car and want Deal Check, by all means post on “Ask the Hackrs”. But “help me find X” isn’t likely to get the response you want.

I could do a full clean up on LH. Revamping these “wannabe key board tough guys” instead of helping the community. Another one jay3, a super supporter to break chops on LH to make themselves feel good through a computer screen.
Jeisenec it just “occurred to me” as well that you saw my original message and decided to ignore it the first time so evidently as a “trusted hackr emeritus” I thought it was a standard to reply to messages with just high honor.
I’ve come here for information on a lease and the bashing is over the top on LH. These are the guys that feel they have authority because they have a fancy title after a donation to LH. That’s what gives this community a poor name.
I thank everyone else for the kindness and guidance, not making these unwanted guest determine why we’re all here to get great deals on a lease.

This will go to a “landfill” shortly and inspire another round of memes in the Lounge, but my observation is that a lot of forums degrade as a result of few vocal ‘regulars’ who guard the public discussion arena as cats guard their territory and will fight to death to expel anyone who is not a member of the ‘cat pride’.
Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done. As any other public forum, it’s privately owned and as such whoever owns it (or has controlling power) can do as they please. They can promote destructive characters and penalize those who offer genuine advises or share unorthodox, unapproved by grand pubahs thoughts.
At the end of the day, this forum is only as profitable as it is able to attract deal seekers. Brokers depend on the traffic generated, and the site itself benefits from brokers. So, while I am not sure if the way some mods abuse their power is the way to maximize the profit (may be it is, who knows), but I would assume the unchecked rudeness and bombastic denigrating of ‘outsiders’ as children in the kindergarten will eventually push constructive posters out of here (with or without mods banning them), and with fewer genuine conversations and so many “oh, you damn stupid idiot newbie, what the fluke you know about so and so to open your moth, shut the duck up” , the traffic will die and so will the business. You can notice how a lot of newbies post their questions and then disappear, not willing to take any abuse from the ‘insiders’.

Sounds like the butthurt one here is the one whining about no one offering him an SL55 deal, even though a broker had a great one 2 weeks ago that you missed out on. It’s too bad no one on this thread has an SL tree in their yard so that they can grab one for you.

Yes you hit the nail on the head. A lot of brokers use this site for their own benefit and this nonsense prohibits them from making money for themselves and most importantly their families. I run a business and agreed I’d never consider speaking to a peer this way. This guys really funny tonight and entertaining. You amuse me my friend, good luck to you as well!

Hey all, I’m looking to lease either a Mach-E or an ID.4. I’d prefer the Mach-E, but I’d also be happy with the ID.4 if it made more financial sense. I’m in Southern California and would love to work with a lease broker if anyone has a connection to one or both of these.
