PenFed discount with BMW on a lease

Never lease a 45e, especially if you can take the depreciation write off.

I’m surprised to see anyone post this comment on here instead of /askcarsales

This is literally about getting the best deal possible chasing unicorns, with leash cash gone, big rebates gone, discounts slim, this penfed is another nail in the coffin.

BMWs were really cheap. $300s range for 330i for 10-12k/36 $0 DAS and $400s range for 340i similar terms.

Even the good brokers now that can get 8% discount MSRP for 330i is north of $630 effectively a month for only 7.5k miles.

This place is similar to slickdeals but we constantly chase the unicorns

I’ll be posting something of a unicorn shortly. :eyes:

Back in May of last year, I was shopping for a 530i xdrive. At the time, lease cash was minimal and dealer discounts were not that great on custom orders. I ended up getting an A6.

The days of 10+% discounts off MSRP on most new BMWs are long gone for now.

I’m actually purchasing it so the incentive is more than the $500. As others mentioned, the 45e doesn’t work out to a good lease at all unfortunately. Hoping that this is one of those “this too shall pass situation” in a few years.

I did a thing.

For now…yes. I miss the days off big discounts on BMW’s. Have owned and leased many.

Well said.

I don’t see Penfed offers for BMW from 1/3/22. Did BMW drop the discount? Or not yet known?

Yes. They have dropped it.
