You’re accusing me of being unable to accept that people have differing opinions because I relayed first hand, extended experience with both products being discussed, while also also stating that all the reviews out there must be paid shills because they differ from your view point. This is a nonsensical stance to be trying to have a discussion from.
I have an M340 and a Palisade limited. I would love some specifics to your generalizations that “they are crap” because I would put the build quality and materials of the palisade up against my Beemer any day and it had a $65K MSRP.
Why do these cars bother you so much? Go pay $200 more for an X5 with half the features and enjoy it. I will enjoy my Palisade as I do every time I drive it. It is hysterical how much angst is directed towards these cars by people who claim to not care about them.
I didn’t say all, I said that Hyndai spent a ton in social media, you extrapolated “all.” You presented your experience with the car, I presented mine. You decided that me saying that it’s plastic crap won’t stand and started a “discussion”. Give it a rest, I already said you want to drive it, drive it.
Looking at sales numbers Pilot and Highlander outsell Palisade, while Ascent trails both. Unfortunately I don’t have the numbers by trim but my guess is that limited and fake luxy aka calligraphy are not going to be high on the list considering “shortages”
In either case I’m done with this thread, see if you can unbunch your panties without my participation.
Asked and answered higher in the thread.
This account needs servicing.
there are 3 on my block and whenever i have clients picking up their xc90s from my house, these neighbors always stop to compliment the xc90s and ask if they’re super expensive. the answer is always “they’re cheaper than your xc90 knockoff”
The “Thor’s Hanmer” lights were also cool until everyone had them.
Can someone please point me to the thread which has comparison for 3rd row seats? I heard Palisade has the best 3rd row seats followed by Pilot.
Wife and I went to test drive Palisade this weekend. After we test drove the Palisade I was trying to leave and the manager stopped us, told us they have zero AWDs in stock, they are not negotiating below MSRP and basically when we are ready to pay that come back. It was… surprising. All irrelevant too, wife hated the pretty light steering on the Palisade and doesn’t want captains chairs (great, not like those are common features in most SUVs).
Hopefully XC90 steering is more to her liking.
I don’t get the amber DRLs tho… why does a car with LED headlights need amber DRLs?
We don’t have a thread like that that I have seen here
Any recommendations for a 8 seater suv with decent space for 3rd row seats? Budget is around $400-450 per month max
I will venture to guess the answer is probably no. Would you consider a mini-van?
Who knows what “decent” means to you or how much taxes will eat into your budget or whether you qualify for any incentives or what part of the country you’re in or whether you can do MSD
Did you even watch that video or similar videos to narrow down which SUVs count as having decent third row space as defined by you?
Yes… I did watch it but it is not complete. Still missing highlander, Subaru ascent and couple more. Decent means that 2 adults 5’6" can sit comfortably for 3-5 hours.
The only way you’re getting 8 passengers in a highlander comfortably is if you’re transporting 4 pregnant women.
1yr old Ex rental 7er
Absolutely. A 6- or 7-yr-old 2wd Suburban with 80k-90k miles on a 60-mo loan should fit neatly in those parameters.
