Correct from built to delivery was 3 days which is amazing.

My Sahara went from built to delivered in like 4 days. It was in that JB status for a few days then right to dealer. My 3/17 rubi order has been in JB since last Friday, this one is taking a bit longer. I was hoping to catch Aprils numbers.

Build sheet popped up yesterday on a 1/29 Rubi order. Trusty Jeep Chat says ā€œyour vehicle has been built and is pending installation of additional equipmentā€.

Correct. 240 14-50 plug. I use a 40 amp Juicebox and love it. The Wi-Fi is a lot more informative/reliable than the Jeep connect app. You can get different plugs for the Juicebox, but the 14-50 is the most common. It’s also the charger cited often in testing. Other J plug 240 chargers would work too. I charge 3x per day and am 80 plus percent electric. Love it. Downside - I had a ā€œdear God, I’ve become the very thing hated… a Prius driver hypermiling!ā€

It’s just awesome i get to catch aprils numbers right at the end. Salesman contacted me at 9am

April numbers run through May 2nd this month

What options did you order?

Fingers crossed mine just shows up. I keep refreshing my window sticker like every hour haha

This will be my keeper, pretty loaded.

SOT, safety, cold, advanced safety, steel bumper, off-road camera, all weather mats.

Going on my 3rd week from chapman and still no plates

I am going on seven weeks with no plates on my 392 from Koons. It took them almost a month just to mail the paperwork to the DMW.

This is the reason I didn’t go through my Koons order…

my last dealership took 6 months to get my plate to my hand, then I sold it at 7th month.

Sounds almost deliberate so they don’t get charged back lol

I am good with what I sold for. It’s much better than directly flip after one or two month. Enjoyed the car a lot

Yes, the most common and flexible situation is to have an electrician install a 14-50 or 6-50 Nema outlet. Almost all EVSE units will have one of these to plug-in types with 14-50 being a bit more popular. There are many EVSE plug in versions available (Juicebox, Chargepoint Home Flex, Grizzle, Wallbox, JADaniell, Clipper Creek etc). This will allow a maximum charing out put of 40 Amps, which is higher than the 4XE will accept at 32 Amps. If you want to future proof yourself you could buy a hardwired EVSE that allows 60 Amps of input that will allow a charging rate of 48 Amps; however only a handful off full EV’s charge at the rate today but I assume will be more and more common very soon.

My plates from Chapman took 7.5 weeks. It’s definitely deliberate.

PA plates or out of state?
