Nissan ARIYA Discussion Thread

Yes, my friend and family member got that email too.

Iā€™m getting a bit snooty, I saw 2 charging and went up and thought ā€˜Eww, Engageā€™ā€¦heheā€¦ (I have an Evolve).

Seen 1 Plat and 2 Empower/Premiers total vs the 100 or so Engages.

On a side note, I saw one Charging at 103kwh and I used the same charger the next week and only got 97ā€¦maybe a Venture or do the AWD get a better charger?

Iā€™ve gotten as high as 111, you need be really deep into the pack to get these speeds (under 10%) and it only sustains them for a short period until it falls back into the 90s. Not the greatest charge curve.

Yep. Got it, replied. nothing weird about it.

Oh, so itā€™s like that now? (I have Engage+)
Be happy those are not Bolts sleeping that the charging station showing 75 min in at only 80%

I have driven this Ariya in some pretty crazy conditions and I canā€™t recall a single time itā€™s lost traction. Itā€™s really good in bad weather, even with the OEM all-season tires. The Model Y needed winter tires to even think about driving on these same roads.

Interesting. Iā€™ve tried lots of different chargers and havenā€™t been able to get faster than 78kwh - even with battery at 5%.

Which brand charger was this?

It was an EA 150 plug. I also use the manual battery preheat option, but Iā€™m not sure if makes a difference or not.

Iā€™ve gotten 97 on an EVGo 350 and 78 on an EVGo 100 and 47 on an EVGo 50.

If anybody else wasnā€™t able to figure out how to install the front license plate bracket, you need to trim the two raised posts on the back. Not very intuitive.

Where did you even find the instructions with Figure 4?

I havenā€™t installed the front plate yet, but Iā€™m going to run out of luck eventuallyā€¦

There is a service bulletin available here.

Just saw this comment from a dealer in a CA thread in Marketplace.

Hi, Nissan came out with , improved incentives for 18 months. Using the loyalty rebate. and the new incentives . 2k due at signing and the payment is 242 plus tax. if you
donā€™t have loyalty, its 2k down and 297 plus tax.

I believe this is for an EVOLVE+ AWD, which would be a very good deal.

Might Nissan have finally gone nationwide heading into the Presidentsā€™ Day weekend?

Every dealer around me is coming back with MSRP+ for a 36/12K lease on an Evolve+ AWD. One dealer got back to me today - $399 plus tax with $1500 drive-off for a lease. That looks too good, TBH. Iā€™ve put the terms into the calculator, and I think itā€™s like 12% off MSRP before incentives. I was expecting closer to 9.

Iā€™ve asked for the full terms, but I think if itā€™s legit Iā€™m going to do it.

Nissan is heavily subsidizing only the 18mo lease term, so if youā€™re set on a 36mo lease your options are more limited.

I believe, in most parts of country, the default incentives available for 36mo are $7500 lease discount & $2000 dealer cash.

Def check on 18 month lease. You can always extend the lease.

I thought lease extensions were up to the good graces of NMAC? They said no when I wanted to extend my LEAF in 2021. Maybe a pandemic one-off.

$399 for the evolve+ seems like a good deal to me. This is the 4th dealer Iā€™ve talked to and the only one who would play ball.

Not sure if this will be able to be extended or not but i would imagine it will be cheaper to lease a vehicle in 18 months, then right now. The deals are on 18 month ariya leases not 36.

also the Ariya gets only 12 months of free charging so that 18 sounds good.
