New Lucid Lease Question

I am planning on leasing a Lucid Air Touring ‘24.
Already put the deposit down since it is refundable.

Question is, the on site credit of $5,000 expires at the end of the month but they do have some other vehicles coming in stock in the next couple of weeks.

Does anyone know if given I have 7 days, and it goes over the end of the month, am I still able to lock in the deal or am I subject to the new terms of October.

If the answer is the latter, given anyones expertise here, shouldn’t the incentives get even better in October given they are more in need of getting rid of the 24’s?

Anyone know how the money factors have changed the past month to this one?

I really liked the car but it is just a little bit of budget and would have loved to have some pures left!!

Any insight is greatly appreciated as well as codes.

Thanks!

If you sign the documents in October, you will get the October program.

If I have to guess, I would say they can’t really increase the price of these leases any further otherwise the inventory wouldn’t move. But Honestly no body knows what would happen. When I got the 2023 Pure in April, everyone was saying that things would get cheaper in May but as it turned out April was the lowest price when it was around $350/month for a Pure. The July, August and September numbers have remained pretty similar each months.

thank you for the code and the insight.

The deals are not nearly as good as the 23’s but they are decent for the car.

I just don’t know if it is worth it to risk it and wait until October or just go ahead and sign now!

similarly, i too was on the fence but decided to lease in the Sept deal.

in my case, i just wanted the cheapest base 2024 Air Pure RWD trim (in the end added the SSP option). I was able to get all the rebates/onsite credits incl the $750 referral. So, total savings was $20,750.

My Lucid sales rep told me that if you can take advantage of ALL the credits, the Sept 2024 deal was the best deal he had ever seen to date.

I am also keeping my eye on how the October deals will shape up just for kicks…

All the best in whichever decision you take. The vehicle is a joy to drive, but there are some teething issues with the software updates as documented in the lucidowners website. Hopefully these issues will be resolved over time…

I’m not closely tracking this vehicle or the programs, so this isn’t to dispute the information in your post but rather to add another anecdotal data point.

I drove a Touring earlier this month, and the sales guy explained to me that Lucid has primarily been steadily increasing the amount DAS to get the advertised payment, and that’s been the effective extent of the program changes in recent months, other things equal (onsite vs order, for example).

fwiw, the Touring felt outrageously heavy yet extremely fast at the same time, which was an odd combo.

I was surprised by how drearily it handled in any drive mode, for a trim marketed for “Touring.”

It’s more “7 Series” than “e-tron GT,” which isn’t a bad thing per se, it just wasn’t what I expected.

I have been keeping an eye on the deals since i got mine (Touring) in the 4th of July week. I feel they have been toggling things a few different ways but the leasing rates have remained more or less the same. Not a bad idea to wait but I would rather do that to find a pure model rather than to expect a big discount. Please keep refreshing and you may see one added.

Also, they didn’t advertise the free charging in the past but i found out later my touring had 1 year free charging at Electrify America network. They are only advertising this perk now but has been valid all along.

Also subtract your referral discounts ($750/$1000/$1250 for pure/touring/GT) and believe they still are giving away $1000 worth of charging equipment. I ordered a range xchange and a level 2 charger for bidirectional charging.

I read Lucid is limiting referrals. Sharing my referral code here (Y9WGRW2T), feel free to use. It has only been used a couple times and still works well -

thanks for the input! not sure how you get to 30k in incentives.
I got a total of 7.5 plug in, 5 air, 5 in stock, 1 referral for a total of 18.5!

I think i am also going to take it and avoid the anxiety of not sleeping on sept 30!

I dont think there are any more Pures coming out.
I loved the touring and think im going for it.

i also have a lvl 2 charger already but not nearly as powerful as the one they are advertising. Not sure if it is worth it to get theirs and spend the extra $300, does that charger have other benefits other than faster charging?

You will be happy. I took delivery of my touring on Aug 31, and am very glad I didn’t wait. It wasn’t because the air credit went down from $7500 in Aug to $5000 in Sep. I was happy because I got the car I wanted with stealth, DDpro and 20 way seats. My SA couldn’t find it, reserved one for me with DDpremium and 12 way seats, and I kept looking. One popped up in mid Aug as available within 2 weeks, I immediately ordered it, and he cancelled the one he reserved. I still got the on-site bonus too. I was pretty impressed with the car and thought it was an OK deal, but the 2.4.4 update I got this week really makes me think it was a great deal compared to the other BMW, MB, and Audis I was looking at. The DDpro, homelink, and carplay updates made a huge difference to me, and give me confidence the car will just keep getting better from here.

Also, when I went to take delivery, I was surprised that the referral bonus I put in when I ordered the car was not included. They said they could put one in right there, so I quickly came to LH, got a referral code, and it worked for the additional $1000. So I want to pay it forward with my code for anyone in the same situation picking up at the end of the month: 47T8O5D7

Enjoy your new Lucid Air!

I believe you have to take delivery of the car before the end of the Sept. 30th to get the deals they have offered and its the end of the quarter.

Ive been following deals since the beginning of the year. Some months they roll over the deal for 2 months in the row, unsure if its guaranteed since its a new quarter on October 1.

The only deals ive seen better than now were people who got '23 leftovers in March and April, which is not a guarantee because they are apparently low on Pure inventory.

I uploaded my contract under the signed section (and only one of the very few people who did) if you need a reference.

If you need a code that works, mine does. Code: GJO10XLT

I don’t know if this is just me, but the deal in august was way better than September - if not for the fact I was leaving on vacation and dealership wouldn’t hold car for me, I’d have a 2024 pure right now.

At that time (August), it was the 18-month lease that had a “sweet spot”: with $4750 down (which was offset by a $4k on the lot credit and $750 referral), the monthly was $612. FF to sept and that deal was gone. Also, even though the “on the lot” discount increased from $4k to $5k in September, the other discount went from $7500->5000 for a net decrease. So I’m very surprised by the post above that September was the best month.

The whole thing really soured me on leases and showed me that there are too many smoke and mirrors, better to just focus on $0 down and look only at the monthly.

I’m waiting to see what happens tomorrow (October).

The overall incentives increased $1,000 for September. The $7,500 credit was still there.

My experience in August was: $7500 EV + $7500 match + $4000 on the lot + 750 referral.

September was $7500 EV + $5000 match + $5000 on the lot + 750 referral.

But regardless, it was all the mysterious and unknowable terms of the lease (residual and money factor and all that crap I don’t understand) that made it a worse deal in September: a car I calculated I’d pay $617/mo for in August was almost 800/mo in September, and that’s all I cared about.

The SA already told me October will be even worse, but I’ll at least take a look later today.

Interesting!
Only from the Credits you posted, from August to September there were $1,500 less which for an 18 month lease is a little over $80!

Lest see what this month looks like although inventory has gone down a lot!

Looks like the Oct 2024 deal just got announced with the same deal as Sept for 2024 year models. For 2025 year models there are some similar incentives but not better than taking delivery of the 2024 year models.

Some wonderful folks on the forum such as calihackr and anique, have been gracious to help me put my lease data into the leasehackr calc. So you can play around with it to get the DAS numbers. In my case, it was a zero down deal and my DAS was $2256 minus the $500 dep = $1756. See details here: Signed: 2024 Lucid Air Pure. $2,256.60 DAS. Zero down, 36 months/15K, $690/month (incl. CA taxes all in)

The Lucid website calculator is a really great tool to play with the numbers and get the monthly payment you desire. It was really accurate, I have to say. Great and wonderful experience leasing my first vehicle and never gotten worried about anyone sneaking in some hidden fees or commission buried in the paperwork…

To be honest, I ran the numbers over and over even comparing with other vehicle deals and if you are not fully taking advantage of ALL the rebates, there are some comparable non-Lucid “EV” specific deals elsewhere without doubt.

I only drove the Air Pure model, which is a SINGLE motor with a 88kWh battery pack capable of 420 EPA miles. The car felt light and very nimble.
The Touring trim has Dual Motors and a 92kWh battery pack, plus other creature comforts like leather seats or anything else like 20 inch wheels that adds weight to vehicle. If you have another chance, drive the Air Pure trim with zero options and take it to the twisties.

The Oct deals just came out. The 2024 model year Pure trim rebates are unchanged. But, it’s more focused on the 2025 model year deliveries. If your lucky or simply put the $500 fully refundable deposit (7 days) and tell your SA you’re only interested in taking the 2024 model year, you should still get the full $20,750 rebates like myself and calihackr did. I also posted up my lease paper work for others to compare…

I just went online and selected a touring (the only 2024 available in my state is touring - no pure) and calculated a lease with $0 down, and then you can download a pdf with all the numbers. The pdf says the air credit is $5000 (just like in September, but down from $7500 in August). So it seems like best deals ended in August.

Thank you for that!

Since as you mentioned, these are set deals, I think its not even worth it to put in into the calculator. If you are happy with your price go for it!

I actually ended up signing the car last month but for some system errors the car ended up being delayed. Fortunately the terms stayed the same! I dont think the MF or residual changed but they have not updated my payments yet.

I am going for the Touring since there are no more pure left. I quite enjoyed the Dual Motors!

FL has 2 dealerships: Miami and WPB, and I haven’t seen a Pure for weeks. They had touring until about a week ago, but those are gone also. Now search results are all 2025s, so looks like I’m not getting a lucid.

The ev air credit was $7,500 for the pure in September coupled with the increased $5,000 on site credit. So the discount in September for the 2024 pure model was the highest it’s been. The low money factor made it the best month to get the 2024 pure. I haven’t compared against October programs so can’t speak to if they’ve improved.
