Mercedes Benz EQS Lease Superthread - 2

just switched to Tesla insurance for new EQS which was noticably less than both Mercury and Wawanesa in CA. Install Tesla app and get a real time quote when adjusting deductibles, etc.

Do they insure all cars?

I was surprised to learn this from my friend who insured several ICE cars for his Turo gig. My insurance agent had no clue as well.

Watch out if you need to make a claim. Feedback on the Tesla forums is that Tesla Insurance has poor customer service and is non-responsive. In many cases, claimants only receive a response after filing complaints with the state’s insurance commissioner.

Staffing and getting a live person to respond seems to be the prevailing issue.

Hopefully goes better for you.

Yeah I read this but I had mercury before which is known to be similar or worse. Have attorney subscription from my company, so less worried about these. Other companies provide ridiculous quotes of 400+ month, where Wawanesa, mercury are in mid 200s and tesla is the cheapest option. Basically, tesla has the same premium for $500 deductible that Mercury has for $2000.

Ohhhh look whose back from being suspended with a new account @admins

For those of you that did the pull ahead – how long did it take for the pull ahead credit to show up?

Just got my lease end statement and it’s not showing it yet. Fully aware it is supposed to take time to process so I’m not fussed yet, just wondering if I need to nudge the dealer to get in touch with the loyalty program dept.

It may take up to eight (8) weeks for the eligible Loyalty Accelerator credits to be applied to your eligible existing contract. Due to the time period to apply credits, your Lease End statement may not reflect these credits.

I called MB finance line 3 days after lease return and they can see final refund check that had pull ahead one month payment was added in addition to MSD

Do Benz service A include tire rotation n wiper change or is it additional?

Days. Account showed paid off within a very short time and got the MSD refund in less than a month

Yes, included.

Mine took about 10 days to reflect in my MBFS account. Another ~7 days for my MSD refund check.

I just got my end of lease charges. From the autovin inspection, there were some changes. For example, they waived the broken front grill charge of $350. But I also know that I shouldn’t have been charged for the service light/service due as I got that done the day of and fixed any warning lights.

Is it as easy as calling them about this?

Why is it so damn hard to get in touch with someone from the First Class department… I was on the phone with a front line agent last week and they had someone from the FC department tell them directly they cant talk to me because my lease is 5 months out. If you’re already on the damn phone, stop being so lazy and take the damn call

Did your EQS come with the charging cable? I’ve recently done the autovin inspection as well, and they put the missing charging cable as a damage (worth $900), but when originally got the EQS, charing cable wasn’t provided or offered.
I’m guessing will have to call MB Financial Services department to get this sorted out.

Look at the window sticker. It should be listed missing charging cable.

If it’s on the window sticker, it needs to be returned or charged for it. If it’s on the sticker and you didn’t get it, then your original dealer is at fault. But they must just tell you to go pound sand :man_shrugging:

If it’s not on the sticker, you just need to tell MBFS that and show it to them.

How have you been charging all this time?
