If you qualify for Amex fleet, you’ll get a code and they’ll use it to apply fleet. If you don’t get or provide a code, you don’t qualify for Amex fleet.
It’s the same with truecar, or costco.

I find your position here to be highly hypocritical. You are the champion of “get the best deal on the car you really want” and now, when the car doesn’t meet your anti-EV agenda, all of a sudden, you’re pushing me into an X7 that I already know I don’t want?? What’s next, should I drive a Volvo?
I wanted to try an EQS SUV and went and found the best deal I could. Pot. Kettle.
Most cars use a set of cameras for AEB and when they are obscured by fogging or dirt you’ll get essentially that message. Five minutes with some Windex and a towel should be the first attempt.
Watch it @holeydonut, your getting @z0lt3c….

Yeah I agree normal people just come to LH for affirmation on getting a 330i or 7 passenger SUV or CX50 or something. But you’re not normal.
You’re one of the smartest people here. You know MMR on thousands of vehicles, can break down any lease or balloon structure while sneezing, and most importantly you can read good.
There’s a reason @Kellstar , @HersheySweet , @dukez , @djrabbi , @Alex1438 , @Dany1122 , a bunch of others, and myself have gotten suckered by the low EQS payments, but also concede the car is massively flawed and unreliable.
So when you post about a used EQS for your family, the analogy is like you getting excited about dating a stripper or something. It’s just a bad idea, and normally you do a lot better.
I still hoped you’d get ICE. Since ICE rules.
Yeah EQS would keep as my personal car, not family hauler. I don’t want to hear my wife’s crap saying this car sucks while we are out and about.
Waiting for the answer to question number 1 as well.
Thanks
Thank you now I get it.
I was wondering what kind of range can I expect driving at 85+mph?
Why do you hate EQS? Just the sedan or suv as well?
Terrible. Range goes down exponentially the faster you drive. Headwinds will also kill range.
The EQ-series has been one of MB’s biggest mistakes. Which is why they’re doing a whole turnaround and getting away from EQx. Reliability is subpar, and there are plenty of documented issues on the forum.
Cant say nothing bad about the Eqe suv, its our first ev. Its my wifes car and she hasn’t complained anything about it. So for me its a good car, happy wife, happy life
Totally understand. It’s a risk/reward choice. Some folks are lucky with their cars, others not so. Don’t get me wrong, the deals are there for the taking. It’s just best to set the right expectations.
Weren’t some folks considering getting a vinfast, and hopefully get the $100/day compensation when it becomes a shop queen? ![]()
I haven’t heard anything bad about then just that their looks are ugly, I wish they were just the ice body with ev put in it, fuck aerodynamic.
This is somewhat of an oversimplification. First, they are doing a mid-year refresh on the existing EQS platform. Upgrading to 800V architecture and increasing battery capacity to 118 kwh. Then, they are taking the next generation bespoke electric platform, MB.EA Large and bringing it to market as an electric S-class, instead of continuing with the EQS branding/look. It’s still a one-off platform, different then ICE platform.
Even if theres issues, if you replace it with a loaner, thats fine. End of the day its going back. Thank god for leases
, 10 years from now i doubt were gonna get all these incentives.
I mean it seems Mercedes being unreliable isn’t just an ev thing so I dont really get the complaint against them with ev division if they overall rank so low anyway.
I haven’t ever heard some one get a Mercedes for reliability tbh.
Range is actually pretty awesome on the eqs for an EV. Had a Tesla model X and that’s way worse. Miles estimate at 280 miles but can only drive 200 miles at 80mph.
Since we are talking about EQS reliability-- thought I’d share the list pricing on the MB extended warranty options. Shopping around should get you a discount on these prices.
I was told the $0 extension via goodwill can only be issued by MBUSA corporate. Would love to find a way to backdoor into this…
This is absolutely incorrect. The range is great compared to other EVs. I regularly get more than 300 miles per charge
