I recently returned my EQS . when i called MBFS and said i wanted to keep the EV this is what they told “ max they can extend for a month and beyond that you would require a new MB vehicle lease or purchase order from the dealership until it is shipped or delivered you can have it , Else return it .
Any other Android Auto and/or possibly Car Play users no longer seeing phone functions (recent calls, ongoing call, etc) in HUD only while AA is open on the main screen? Everything shows up fine on HUD with MBUX on the main screen. My local shop foreman tried to connect his Apple phone and could not get it to work with my car at all making me even less open to deleting my phone to experiment. Last time I did it, I had to buy a new phone as it would not reconnect with the first EQS while having zero issues on any other cars including a loaner EQS.
Similarly, with AA on the navigation directions on HUD are a hit or miss. Both problems are fairly new, guessing caused by some update to either AA, MBUX or how they interact.
No way… I was hoping to have them for me at least a 3 month extension…
I will try to tell them I am working with a rep to get a new MB EV that is not released yet as someone said earlier in this thread.

I take it you’ve done a hard reset of the MBUX OS? I generally do this every morning, before I start driving away. I guess the nice thing about being out of warranty is no worry about firmware updates.
You mean holding down the power button and let it cycle? Actually, I did not but you just reminded me that the system did it for me twice recently with a very loud bang coming from the rear left speaker. Scared the crap out of me the first time while driving.
Just called- they are offering 2 months and asking me to call back then to see if I have a purchase order- otherwise they can extend more “as needed”

Anyone tried to purchase their EQS post lease at the market price (not residual)
my residual is about 70k and market price in the low 30s
Curious how to start that conversation with the dealer explaining that the residual is 40k under water 
You wouldn’t have to explain to an MB dealer what the car is worth, they already know. They also don’t care because it isn’t their car… it belongs to the company that’s renting it to you. And even if it was their car, they are still keenly aware that it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Just try to negotiate when it actually hit the used car lot.
Good chance it will get wholesaled with that kind of gap between the pricing. Keep checking your VIN on Google to see where the car pops up.
