Mercedes Benz EQS Lease Superthread - 2

Huh, did the Unibow say that the customer is “now eligible to trade in the G550”??? Does he really think that other dealers won’t take that G550 - or any other vehicle - without his blessing? I had no idea my eyes can roll that far back in their sockets.

That’s how the game works on Porsches now. Even if @li8625 can have a shot at a GT3 RS, he’ll need to get a lesser 911 with full dealer PPF, wheel and tire, and marked up financing rate.

And when his GT3 RS is ready, he has to turn in his lesser 911 at below market value to the dealer to then turn around and sell for profit.

Exactly, he’ll scalp that “friend” like there’s no tomorrow. That’s some eligibility!

G63 market is pretty insane.

This one has a Brabus package. You know, for the ones who don’t find regular G63 enough of a statement. Or you can get 3 EV Gs for that price to Kardashian on a budget.

Its not about getting out of the current vehicle. Its about getting the next one(s).

Did anyone get their first A2 service on the EQS done outside of the dealer? Looking for recommendations in NJ/PA/NYC area if you did.

My dealer is quoting $1400+tax which is insane for the stuff they are performing and saying it is not complementary since the car is past 2 years (not the case as far as I can tell).

In the meantime, reaching out to MBUSA to see what’s up.

I’ve had my EQS serviced, and many of my Tesla, by Evolution Autosports – They are in Warminster, PA and worth the trip, highly recommended.

Thanks, a bit further than I was hoping to go but will call them depending on things with MB.

Yeah, and there’s only one dealer for that on planet Earth

Mansory is way better looking than Brabus…

Stuttgart Car Service in Southampton NJ seems nice and good. My uncle used to take his MB there for service and it’s relatively cheap lol

Mansory has a G580 body kit. This may make the car worth $699 a month instead of $599 a month.

What exactly is A2 on the EQS - is it mostly checks, fluids and cabin filter? Google gave me this pearl:

“For the Mercedes-Benz EQS, A2 service typically refers to a specific maintenance interval. It usually involves synthetic motor oil replacement, oil filter replacement, fluid level checks and corrections, tire inflation checks and corrections, brake component inspection, and resetting the maintenance counter.”

And then clicking on “AI for deeper dive” doubled down with this jem from MBZ Riverside:

“While there is no specific Mercedes-Benz service called “A2 service” mentioned for the EQS, the “A2” designation generally refers to a more comprehensive version of the standard “Service A” within Mercedes-Benz’s maintenance system.”

I’ve been to that gas station many times when I lived in South Jersey, will definitely keep in mind.

Yeah, I saw that and that’s what the service advisor told me but $1400 feels crazy high for that. I can most likely do the filters myself just not the brake fluid flush/replacement and any electronic updates.

AYYYY SJ REPRESENT!

Yeah, the older gentleman passed away but the foreman took over the shop. I think he was actually trained in Germany. He’s not cheap but probably around 30% off of what the local dealers charged. Most of the time, he’ll be like you don’t need this done since MB has a lot of stupid unnecessary work that’s charged 300 bucks an hour lol

Maybe you ditch your MLites and go back to being a BenzBoi

What is the first required service for eqs? I’m still under 5k miles
