Mercedes Benz EQS Lease Superthread - 2

Just received a email, i guess you can now add more power to your EQ from benz…

Wtf? Seriously?

Im gonna pass on this, its the wifes car and i doubt ppl race jelly beans. Im curious if anyone purchased this upgrade,

LOL. Got the same message. Soon we will buy or lease the car and in order to use it you will have to buy a subscription for it. LOL.

Out with the old (silver in the back), in with the new (Emerald Green in front)!

Replaced our 23 450+ FWD with a 2024 4MATIC exec demo with 1,100 miles. Base monthly of 579.73 (634.59 after 9.5% taxes), 2.5k DAS, 118,170 MSRP.

Pretty sure there was another 1-2k in there to try to squeeze out, but even with that left on the table this was still the cheapest option out of the other cars I was considering ('25 EQS and iX), and the wife and kid were very happy with the last one, so not mad about it.

In terms of the actual drive, agree with whoever said the brake is much better. I had definitely gotten used to the '23, but depressing that thing felt like a brick. 4MATIC is also an improvement over our first one, but not to the point where I consider them worth a premium (handling is not the reason to buy an EQS!)

So I did find one dealer (about 200 miles away) with a '24 loaner w/ 5k miles on. They had a MSRP of $109,035 and advertised price of $85k but seems they were using the incentives to get to that price predominantly. Currently their offer is $72,535 which according to their sheet is $2,887 down with $658 monthly (MF 0.0008 and RV 54.4%)

Trying to close them with the $85k sale price before incentives (22% off msrp) by the end of the month. Will see how that goes!

Is this a sedan or SUV?

Also im pretty surw the MF has got to be 54 or 55, I’ve never seen with a decimal point.

Don’t be afraid to expand your search beyond local, purchasing remotely is easy and even with added shipping it can still make the deal worth it.

Is that MB of Knoxville? I worked with them for two weeks and they weren’t moving on anything.

Knoxville I’m guessing. One of the only former 2024 loaners listed within 500 miles from the East coast. They’ve been sitting on that one since at least the beginning of Feb when I started my search. They never replied to emails so got nowhere with them.

The other dealership i was looking at is North Olmstead (Cleveland) they have been sitting on a bunch of loaners for a few months. A few are heavily optioned if that’s what you’re looking for.

Already got mine

North Olmsted has some but they have no miles on them so minimal discount. They’re just punching them as loaners … at least that’s what they said a few weeks ago.

Yeah the Knox location, at some point you’d assume things budge, but at this point who knows.

Even if they don’t have miles, once they are punched the dealership gets some financial incentives for it. My loaner had 31 miles on it.

I was just about to ask if you ever tried Sam directly before I saw this, lol.

@Samaudibh wanna address that nostalgia in a material way?:grin::grin:

I’m so out of LH these days don’t even know what to say. Lots to do at MB of BH don’t have the time anymore !!

Start by cloning yourself?

Just an idea for ya (oldie but goodie)

They would not budge a cent from their advertised 11% discount on a loaner with 2,200 miles on it, even after being presented much better (>15%) discounts on brand new units at other dealers.

Great deal! I’m interested in trying to replicate this deal. Can you post a link to the calculator or tell us how the rebates and incentives were applied?

The agreement is uploaded to “SIGNED” so you can see exactly how they did the math!

No real magic in it outside of the inventory being kind of limited now — I just asked them to beat a payment (my then-existing 23’ EQS SUV) and they did it. There’s some markup / dealer add in there that should be easy to get rid of if you have all incentives (loyalty + fleet) and find the right dealer. I was just in a time crunch with the current lease expiring and didn’t want to risk losing this one.
