Loaner To Owner - Mercedes, Audi, BMW etc

Most dealer are going to tell you 0.00192, but in reality they can do 0.00152.

Residual is going to be calculated by the following

Residual of car normally - ((# of miles)-500)*0.25)

So for most of these 4000 mile cars, assume a 24 month residual of 65% and 36 month of 59%

Excellent, thank you so much for your info! Can I apply your residual calculation to any loaner? E.G. MB, Audi, Lexus etc…

No, every manufacturer handles demo/loaner miles differently.

I was told by an Audi dealer that they tanked their demo/loaner leasing program badly. So much that it is actually cheaper than new. And they went out of their way over the course of a few days to try and figure out the out of state leasing for me.

Does 2017 C300 have those semi-autonomous driving functions such as adaptive cruise control and steering assist, etc?

Never mind, it’s a former personal lease, so no dice.

Loaner to Owner “event”, whatever that means:

Good find, but doesn’t look like these are leasable. Appears they were all part of a rental car fleet in VA, so those interested will have to buy.

The markdown isn’t particularly impressive (they list MSRP in the listings which is convenient).

They all should be leaseable. This is how most VA MB loaners are listed in Carfax - rental. You can see that all records in Carfax are for the dealership. Markdowns are nothing, so one needs to work on them based on what we have on LH.

And most importantly there is lots of competition in the area. MB of Tysons has several C300s with pricing >25% off listed on their website. The lowest priced one is 27% off. Add in fleet (500), buy rate MF and leasing in a state other than VA or MD (better tax structure) and with MSDs you are flirting with sub-300 depending upon mileage needed.

Hmm I suppose i was misinformed on the leasability. Thanks for clarifying

Pretty sure they will not give buy rate with advertised 25-27% off.

How loaners appear in carfax depends on the state - some simply show “Title taken while in Inventory”, some show “Corporate Fleet”, others show “Rental” - it should be consistent throughout your state though how they appear.

Yes, but the other dealer doesn’t know that. (Well they probably do, but it is an additional opportunity for obfuscation).

Are these available to be leased outside of MD? ie NJ/NY?

MB of chantilly advertises shipping to other regions as an offering on their website.

Don’t see why not. MB of Chantilly even say that they ship on their site.
LOL @cheapdad00 beat me by 2 seconds

Does Audi not do much in the way of loaner leases? Curious how we never see lease deals for them pop up.
