Does anyone have experience or information about lease programs for “used” Audis? I see a few Q4 e-trons in my area with < $5,000 miles priced at around $40k. Just wondering if there is any official Audio program, and how one might “hack” such a car.
I don’t think Audi allows used car leases like Porsche
Unless you’re talking about a loaner?
Just discussed back in August
We have reports that non-subvented CPO leases exist, AFAIK i’ve never seen one advertised here or anyone reporting they signed one.
I did not realize that the “Fart” topic was about this!
It is a grey zone for sure. Demo, CPO, and straight-up used – different situations. Could be useful in the right situations. I wonder who has the numbers for these programs?
There was literally one, IIRC. Lemme see if I can find it.
Hi there, yes AFS does allow leasing on “used” units. AFAIK these do not use NEW CAR lease rates/incentives and are similar to how PFS does things (IE: it’s a secret society).
The EV models are somewhat interesting to explore given their used car price point but you may have to play around with the lease terms… because it wouldn’t fund. Ideally you can also play with adding Audi Care but sometimes these cars already have it applied so you just have to confirm with the dealer on that.
In terms of hacking, I would say it either works or doesn’t.
So all three can apply, I leased a former used Audi (non-demo and non-CPO). I also went for a CPO unit last month but couldn’t get to my number due the adjusted cap cost being lower than RV (not the dealer did not want to write a check to me).
I found 3 posts about leasing not-new Audis (listed in chronological order):
That’s the feeling I got from the posts….
The hack is to wait until inventory piles up again, not 7 days after the biggest sales marathon in EV history
Cannot wait for October sales numbers…
