Speaking from experience, a 3 series wouldn’t impress any radiologist more than a G70, CT4, TLX, IS or ES…that said, none of those would impress a radiologist or office staff any more than an Accord or Camry.
If you want to stand out, get a Model 3, because that’s probably the only entry level lux sedan someone would recognize, however nobody is going to notice your car when you park at an imaging center.
Let’s be honest. Deep down inside no one gives a shit about what kind of vehicle you drive. No one ever got the sale or a contract over the type of vehicle they brought into the parking lot.
You’ve mentioned needing to pay off debt. Find a $3-400 car and put the extra toward debt, or an emergency fund. Or better yet, buy a 5-6 year old Camry with solid service records and knock out all the debt.
Then look into a “luxury” brand.
Trust me, you’ll feel better without the debt cloud hanging over your head that driving an entry level 3 series for $800/month
Dude has new job, crappy credit, card debt, can’t calculate own lease and realize a horrible deal smacking in his head. This won’t end well. I feel bad for his wife.
OP cares about gas mileage. FWIW, the 2022 330i xdrive is rated at 24 / 34 mpg (city / highway). The M340i xdrive is rated at 22 / 31 mpg (city / highway).
None of what you just said justifies overpaying for a 330. Plenty of other vehicles that will present the same level of flashy with out this deal to weigh it down.
I’m still not convinced that a basic 3 series is going to impress anyone more than a new accord or Camry does. With all due respect, this seems like something you’ve established and now you’re just looking to justify it. Thread is kind of pointless now…as everyone has said this deal is terrible. Either shop a new deal on the same model, which you’re not going to score a deal on due to reasons already stated, or move on to another manufacturer that gives you more bang for your buck in this market.
