Hows this bmw 330i xdrive msport deal

,

Amazing how things have changed. My 2018 340i M-Sport at $62k MSRP, top tier credit, and 3/36 was only $698/mo.

And when F cars were being blown out with dealer discounts, heavy rebates, and sometimes even tax credits (Texas) some people got the same car for half the price.

I’d argue that the G20 is a much better car than the F30 but nonetheless the current programs are nothing like in the past.

How is this possible with $0?

Is ur mf barely anything?

10k in rebates?

Idgi

How can it be possible the numbers just dont add up

Checked out acuras and Audis on edmunds lease forums

Mf is worse than this bmw deal

Back then, there were just more incentives, lower MF and slightly higher residuals on BMWs. Not to mention some M340i loaners being available. Some people were even getting them for less than that. BMWs were the most hackable car in this class for a while. This wasn’t unheard of. I’m also struggling trying to find one for $700/mo all-in right now in South FL, where the dealers act like their shit doesn’t stink lol. Even with brokers, you’re closer to $800ish with tax right now, which depending on how you feel, is A LOT for a 3 series. That was “real” M money several years ago. Even a fast one. S4 has a higher RV but worse MF. Maaaaybe you can swing a slightly higher discount on one of those? Acura dealers think their TLX Type S vehicles are worth insane mark ups. Forget about the C43. Volvo S60 T8 Polestars seems to be the only cars that have any sort of incentives on them right now but they are also very, very expensive. And they removed the paddle shifters on 2021 cars going forward, so even their sportiest model got somewhat neutered…plus, you may want to experience that M340i or S4 V6 goodness now since that engine may not be here in a couple of years. At least that’s how I’m thinking about it.

FYI I contacted a local dealer here in South FL for pricing on a DEMO 2021 Merc E-Class just out of curiosity…6K mile demo only warranted a $2K discount LMAO. At $59K MSRP they were at $900/mo with tax…insane. An Audi dealer here wanted damn near $1.2K/month on a prestige trim S4…when I mentioned I was interested in the P+ with less options and only drove the Prestige because it was all they had, they said the P+ would only be $200 or so less a month.

It’s just very, very tough all around right now. Not even worth it to counter offer with these dealerships.

Not on a 3 series.

What exactly does not add up? The deal referenced was on a 2018 3 series. As stated by someone else, there were deals to be had on BMWs 3 years ago.

If that’s your max, you need to keep doing research on cars you can actually afford. No one is going to do the leg work for you.

Never limit lease budgets based on msrp amounts.

i recently got a promotion at work and doubled my yearly income

my CR score on transunion is 670 but whatever the dealer uses it’s 630

score is only due to high balances on cards/credit to debt ratio/mortgage

i can afford the high monthly but looking for $0 down since I wanted to use to cash to pay off cards instead of putting it down on a lease

affording the monthly isn’t a problem i could probably afford 2k a month on a lease

i just spend as little as possible and nickel and dime these dealerships

and i don’t want to wait to pay off balances on my cards to improve my credit score, my car now might die this winter

Then get a $300/month car and pay an extra $1,700 per month paying down your debt.

Have you informed the dealer of this so they can try to get a tier bump?

That prob doesn’t even get them a Corolla in this market.

That’s the reality of paying down debt.

Like you, I see the wisdom in paying off high interest revolving credit over fancy wheels.

Maybe one of @Jrouleau426 Tacoma SR deals is in order?

Seriously though, we’re not here to tell the man how to spend his money past not getting ripped off at the dealer.

Good recc on the Taco

Also, i need a luxury badge now in my line of work to impress. Otherwise I’d get a camry to be honest

How did you come up with number? $2k/month equates to $24k/year. Over 3 years, that’s $72k.

Then go for a Range Rover, if you are just badge shopping.

Well i can afford 2k a month but I’d rather spend it on craft beer, hookers and my wife

A bmw is what i want

3 series with msport is good between style, label whoring, comfort, price and gas mileage

But i wanna get it as cheap as possible

My line of work is health care imaging center consulting

Trust me it helps with the vibe of looking like a hot shot

U wouldnt think image plays a role but it does

I don’t disagree. Not to be rude though, while it’s definitely a nice car and does have the badge, not sure an entry level BMW is turning that many heads.
