I’m lucky looks like mine was ordered in the wrong color and the plant has had mine in paint since Aug. 22nd. Gupton tried escalating with the plant but I noted it’s the wrong color from the POC. I think I’ll have no issue getting the deposit back at this point.
There are a ton of inbound Saharas. The small dealer I sold most recently to just got four allocated. Over 20 on the way to a bigger dealer near me. Have to figure once the sold orders cleared they cranked up the lines.
At least here in New England there are far fewer Rubis inbound or on lots. Nationwide it looks like 3x Saharas to Rubis.
Not sure where all these sentiments are coming from but if you got any discount on top of the EV credits, you are going to make money on it. Sure less than what the market was before but its not that bad that you are going to loose money. Its regional, its seasonal etc. you gotta do some legwork to get some money. Reach out to 100-200 miles radius dealers. Chances are they are more receptive. Just sold one for 62K (67.8K MSRP) . Did another autonation quote for the next one which is still not registered, got an certified offer for $63.1K. Its the 22-23 transition period which is making it harder for them to price '23 but if you do some work, profit is there.
I see you got a good look at my RUBI
Flipping isn’t dead just yet! 2022 Rubicon in High Velocity. Trailer tow, non cold weather, safety package. $64,500 MSRP.
Sold today to a CDJR dealer 30 minutes from my house for $59,500. Equity check of $4,888. I drove the Jeep 3 months so when factoring in all expenses/payments, I netted a profit of roughly $2500.
I started by calling 7-8 CDJR dealers that were in surrounding counties. Got information of who to text pics to, and went to work. The dealer I sold to, was not only the first to respond with an offer, but was the highest. Their offer via text was $59k. I was able to squeeze out another $500 once I got there. Their offer was $2200 higher than Driveo and nearly $5000 higher than Autonation.
Seems like the flip isn’t dead for Rubi, not so sure about my Sahara
I got about 4k out of my Rubi as well… not sure I’d take a Sahara delivery right now. I guess you’d have to look at the numbers when it lands
If you got decent discount you should be just fine on a Sahara, at least for now.
My state has Full tax due on the lease price not monthly like some other states. I was asked should i finanaced the full tax or pay myself to the state.
Guess that means roll into monthly payments.
Which is better and quicker. Normally it takes 14 to 30 days to get registration completed. Does it matter if its a flip or a keeper.
Sorry for the dumb question but my wife has fca affiliate from work (used them both already)
If She signs up for tread lightly will she get another 2 codes?
Everything I’ve seen/read says No, not allowed
Shouldn’t make much difference which way you pay it.
Sold a 22 sahara today to a jeep dealer for 52500. Msrp was 59xxx. It was hard work and a lot of low offers. I’m glad it’s gone and would not want to be waiting on a sahara if it is just to flip. Agree that Rubicons if lightly optioned are still okay assuming strong discount off msrp. But these interest rates gotta start shocking the used car market soon.
Anyone here ever get a Check Engine DTC code P04EE?
There isn’t much info on the net about it. From what I have seen it could be the evap system (gas cap?) or even the battery coolant pump. I have an appointment to take it into the dealer in 2 weeks. It really sucks not knowing what the issue is and how safe/unsafe it is to drive.
Under 4k on the odo.
Thats an evap leak. More than likely its due to your gas cap not being tight. Remove and replace the gas cap and give it a couple days. It’ll go out on its own after you completely all the obd2 evap drive cycles.
Might see these things lean back a little more towards online companies since dealers have them and are getting them in stock, just a theory. Not that the offers are going to be what they were but you never know, AN, Carmax, etc can’t order their own stock.
We were all singing the same tune last year, and here we are. Maybe not as easy and profitable, but still in the game.
