Hello all! For those who have flipped, I have a question!

When I call CCAP and request the 15 day payoff, they are telling me that the consumer payoff differs from the dealer payoff. I was told they are only authorized to provide me with the consumer payoff.

For those of you who have flipped multiple times, does the dealer payoff tend to be lower or higher than the consumer payoff?

Thanks in advance!

Lower because it does not include the tax
Unless you live in a state that does full tax on a lease

State is KY, so the tax is levied on the monthly payment. You believe in this case that the dealer payoff would be less than consumer in this scenario?

It should be
The dealer don’t pay tax on a purchase

I’ll be sure to reach out to them! thank you!

I’m noticing a ton of dealers around me have 4xe’s (Rubicon, Sahara, and HA) on the lot with the 2023’s. Looks like the factory is producing now for dealer stock. I was able to sell my 2022 Rubi to a local Jeep dealer yesterday but profit is no where near where it was a few months ago.

Where are you located? I cancelled my order for the same reasons. I’m in SoCal

This has me worried too - I wanted to keep for 6-9 months but def don’t want to get stuck with $600+ payment for full term

I’m in Michigan but I’m seeing it from dealers all
around. The dealer I sold to was low volume but had a few on lot as well. Still got them to offer 2k higher than clutch’s dealer.

I can’t figure out what removing the credit in 2023 is going to do to the market – but I’m thinking it’s going to weaken overall demand which would lower prices even more

It’s well known that dealers were offered in-stock allocations for MY23 Wranglers.

Many of the dealers I know, some of whom advertise here, have 50+ incoming units.

Just as a data point. What was your 22 Rubi’s MSRP, buyout, & what you sold it for? How long have you had it for?

2022 Rubi delivered in April 66k MSRP.

When you said dealers you mean CDJR dealership.
Are they physically on tbe lot or inbound.
I will be surprised to see so many already delivered.

I also see that AN advertize all there 4xe stock as 2023 even in july when the production didnt even started… Till I see the sticker thats its indeed 2023 and sitting on the Lot.

LA dealership has almost 325 inbound or some already delivered.

Sounds like the value on the 23s isn’t there anymore? Crap, might have to take a loss on this last one.
