This has been the case for many many many months now
Yes, the market has tanked on these.
You could have leased (via SFS) and bought out a 24 Willy’s 4xe sub $30k (pre tax, fees) a few months ago, iirc. Your trade in value isn’t bad tbh.
Sub $30k Willys? Tell me more.
I just got in the market for a lease on a Willys 4x3. I’m doing the research now before making an offer on one near me. I think I’m going to offer 25% off MSRP, then subtract the $7500 national rebate and $1000 TDM certificate.
The Willy’s 4xe ship sailed a few months ago.
More recently, the Rubicon’s were avail in the low 40’s after lease buyout. Here is a sample breakdown.
Assuming a 65k MSRP, you can shoot for a $6500 dealer discount (10%), $7500 ev rebate, $11000 dealer cash, and $1000 TDM.
$25k off in total, net $40k.
If you want to do an immediate buyout on a willys, there is huge IDL cash currently.
A $60k msrp willys at 10% off pre-incentive on an ally lease gets $17500 in incentives plus $6k discount, would put you at $36500 before taxes and fees.
Youd have to deal with ally, but for $9k in idl…
Alas, this is no more
Yeah, these money ships keep sailing. Have to wait for the next one.
Got it. This info is real helpful. Thank you.
I was targeting a Willys lease because the October money factor and residual value are best. I’m not doing a buyout—-this is for my business as a write off, per my account’s advice.
But I’d be happy with Willys or Rubicon.
What I’m hearing from you guys is I need to wait for another big Stellantis cash rebate offer? The news reports are one will come in Q4. So I should wait and not bother with an offer now? I’m in no rush, just ready.
Willys programs arent bad this month. Everything else sucks. They’re better this month on the willys without the dealer cash than they were last month with.
Autoninjas just dropped a great Willy’s 4xe lease deal last night. I think one unit is still avail as of this morning. Hydro Blue
I almost bit on the Earle but it was sold as I was reviewing the terms. Maybe for the best…lol.
I ground my current 4xe today.
Which dealership currently has the best deals?.
I leased from gupton in 2022, but the discount doesnt seem to apply to leasing at the moment.
Thanks in advance.
I’m in the same exact boat as you… I think at this point we need to wait until the next big sale. Inventory might drop down through end of the year, will be tough to determine. Overall Stellantis numbers + PHEV fire recall should work in our favor.
That blowout AutoNinjas was running leads me to believe that there’s some sort of coupons or select inventory cash that Stellantis is passing out to pacify their dealers but that’s just speculation on my part. Only way to find out would be to start snooping around some aged Willys 4xes and see what’s going on.
Dealers do have $500 coupons they get, one dealer I spoke with last month said they ran out otherwise they would do the deal and to reach out in the beginning of the next month. But the dealer cash was gone so it killed it.
I think of the word “aged” inventory as Lot Rot. These cars need to get moved before all the batteries die, the wheels get flat spots, and random animals take up residence in the wiring harnesses and have a buffet.
Just updating the thread with a datapoint to help you all in your search. And to say goodbye, for the next 34 months…
Congrats ! Enjoy your new Wrangler.
Great deal!
The MSRP on this Willys is so high.
Is Jeep still doing website TDM’s? Cant get one to generate for the life of me.
