They are soooo firm that they are correct…but another dealer just told me BS.
This site is chock full of accounts of idiotic dealers insisting on being ‘correct’ when they are absolutely not, and even when called out for it, refuse to recant. It’s…a theme. ![]()
Yeah…and for some topics that are so simply to their daily operations…how can they be so confused?
Isnt it funny how their confusion always some how results in them having more of your money?
I figured out what was going on…

Has anyone been able to get an offer on Carvana for a Willy’s 4xe? Mine keeps stumping them even though it was plenty of history on autocheck. Thinking of flipping one and getting into another here while the 7500 rebate remains.
Didn’t you just get this less than 2 weeks ago? LoL. You need to be registered/plated unless you already did that yourself somehow. No registration will not bring up any history.
This didn’t age well… ![]()

It was low on a manual appraisal. 4k under other offers. I wouldn’t waste your time.
Usually the car just needs history on autocheck which can just be an inservice date or something like that. I sold a bunch of kona’s to carvana in 2021 on temp tags and a jeep last year on a temp tag. Autocheck actually lists three history records on this jeep. Kelly Blue book can’t even find the vin on this thing and you can’t enter it manually with make and model because they don’t have the 2023 year as an option yet. I really wasn’t intended to flip, but I got an offer from Rodo for 10K over payoff but their communication fell off a cliff once I sent them the info they requested. It’s not worth a coulple thousand for the hassle of flipping and replacing, but anything 5K over payoff means the flip is on. I got a kid going to college next year and indoctrination into the radical left isn’t cheap
.
Can confirm this as well, had one bought out last week as well. Payoff was the same for the dealer as it was for me.
How do you check payoff? Last time I called, they said dealer info only.
I got my dealer payoff yesterday and it was what was expected.
When you log on to CCAP site go to support and Chat with an agent. I just ask for the payoff that way and they gave it immediately.
Looking to see if I can get some feedback on this: I’m trying to purchase my current lease (leased in Aug, 2022 - 4XE). Less than 3k miles at the moment, local credit union states it’s considered a used vehicle even though their policy states new vehicle must be < 12 months. Are all lease purchases considered used auto regardless of months/miles?
Also I inquired with a local dealership and they came back with additional $500 shop charge to complete the lease purchase with them. Is this normal? I thought it’s only the payoff + taxes/fees?
No need to go through your dealer.
I would shop around and use some of the recommendations here. https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/the-best-finance-rates-hacks-submit-your-cu-recommendations
Banks will vary on what they’ll charge you and how they’ll categorize the car but starting with shopping financial institutions is probably your best bet.
