HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 4)

my best offer is from auto nation, have tried GMTV, carvana, carmax, etc. Will ask local dealers and I do have Enterprise car sales nearby, so thanks for the suggestion.

Sold mine for $47,600 a couple of weeks ago. That was payoff for me. 11k miles, SOP, Adv Safety, Tow Pkg

And target dealers who don’t have a lot of used car supply. a Jeep dealer unless it’s a unique color likely wants no part of it whereas Kia Toyota Subaru Honda and Hyundai still need more cars to sell.

Awesome interior updates — but I hate those black grills, on both current and this refresh.

Anyone happen to have their 4xe bought back by manufacturer due to lemon law? have noticed a few used sahara’s pop up at a local dealer who loves selling lemon buy backs. I’ve also run into an issue myself where the electric coolant heater has been replaced twice.

How long between replacements?

I sold it to auto nation for 49k, others were in 46-47.5k range.

the first time was within 7 months of signing papers. the second was about 12 months later. each time the part was on national back order so battery mode didn’t work the whole time the part was faulty.

I’ve done this with a dealer who was trying to sell a 21 sahara lemon law buy back for 47k and they offered me 41k. Mine also has more options, sot top, etc. It’s a good idea in theory but I still think dealers are trying to sell for top dollar.

This may be old news, but has anyone else else found that CCAP is now giving dealers (even Jeep franchises) an extremely elevated market value based buyout? They do not appear to be honoring the original leasees pay off value :frowning:

No. Just sold my Durango yesterday leased thru CCAP. When the dealer first called they couldn’t get a dealer payoff without sales tax but I was able to call and get it for them. Might be your dealer isn’t getting the dealer payoff without tax.

The pay off the dealer is supposedly getting is $16,000 more than my personal pay off

Ive only heard of that during the last 60 days of a lease

20 months left🤪

The dealer stated that CCAP is giving out different payoffs based on a number of criteria, including what type of car and lease it is apparently. They said they have seen this a bunch of times. I’ve also heard this from a second dealer as well.

So…not sure what this means…

I wonder if they’re getting weird info based on it being a one pay

Yeah I had one bought out Thursday. Same as it ever was.

I swapped my Ioniq 5 for a Wrangler 4xE with a friend for a week. Loving how the Wrangler 4xE drives. It’s light and nimble like a 2Dr Bronco with a bit of RAV4 Prime power even in Hybrid with < 1% SoC.

The GC 4xE test drive back in November? Hated it. The powerplant is wrong for the GC. I don’t know what the major difference is… but GC with low SoC feels anemic and could barely accelerate compared to the V6 Pentastar. I did have passengers in my GC test drive and so far no passengers in my friend’s Wrangler.

I’m still trying to get to the bottom of this with the dealer. I believe they are doing something incorrect on their end.
