Sold mine 63k Sahara in May for 57 in Detroit. Many Jeep dealers did not want to touch it at all. Selling in Ohio - prices were higher. The dealership couldn’t sell it at 63/61 and sent it to auction. Sold at 57,200 at auction and currently sits on a Chevy lot south of Columbus.
I sold a few to Carvana at 57k in Michigan but that was last month. I think you are selling yourself short here.
All the online offers have been low this month and dealership offers hve been 47-48
Lease companion told me 45
Clutch told me 49
My recent experience with Carvana was not great.
Currently even after you accept their offer they likely won’t honor it and will let it expire by delaying the process on their end. They don’t care that their delays caused the offer to time out and will make you start the process over.
This didn’t happen with Carvana when the market was hot because they knew your next offer likely would be higher.
Good Luck
My offer expires September 7 so crossing my fingers
So my 23MY Rubicon is in production as of 8/19, build date 8/22… let’s see what happens
Has anyone had issues with ccap payoff when making an extra payment? Dealer sent in payoff but I made regular payment a couple days later because I wasn’t sure if it would process in time. Fast forward a month and I received the small over payment from the dealer payoff but nothing for the extra monthly payment (money is gone from my checking account) - waiting to hear back from ccap
They sent me a pre paid debit card for the full amount. Took about 6 weeks to get it.
Same experience
Consider yourself lucky had a rubi with the same msrp. Best I could get was 60 but the dealer was 3 hours away. Settled with a local for 59
I think 60-63k rubis still sell well, just can’t load them up to 67k
A 61k rubi is a stripper with 0 options. You’re looking at 64k minimum if you add some needed options.
I had this happen back in may. My regular payment hit the same day as the payoff. They said I’d get a debit card but I actually received a paper check. Took almost 3 months though
Backing out of a fully loaded Gobi Rubi.
8.5% off MSRP
or
13% off with a ridiculous, mandatory shipping fee to offset the 4% - 5% delta. Take your pick.
DM if interested
I know this has been mentioned several times in this thread, but I was hopeful to tap into someone who has done this recently.
I have a 60.5k Sahara that I will be signing for before months end. My driveway is full currently. I’ve got a Hybrid Camry, wife has a Hybrid Sienna, and we have a Rubicon 4xE in High Velocity that we love and plan to keep for the forseeable future.
What is the soonest that you all have been able to flip one of these? It would be around 60 days before I receive my actual license plate and registration. I’d like to dump the Sahara at the soonest possible moment after signing, considering the 23’s will be rolling within a few weeks.
Also for those who have flipped within the first week or two of signing, which dealers/online buyers we’re willing to work with you?
Thank you all!
jeep dealers will, but dont expect payment til they get the title
I am totally fine with having to wait on the payment being issued to me. If, in theory, I were to flip to a Jeep dealer in week 1, would I still be liable for the payment (or 2) that may come due before they receive the title?
as soon as your ccap account pops up dealer will payoff the balance
so if the dealer processes it fast enough you wont make a payment and if they dont the dealer might get charged for the payment and they will ask you to pay them… it happen to me both times
I leased one 4XE from (clutch) dealer not long ago. The 7.5k credit that was applied to the lease, do I show that anywhere on my taxes? if I plan on ordering another one this year or get an EV thinking I could get the 7.5k credit on taxes, will I be denied? Not sure how this works.
