HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 3)

Not on a Phev, needs to be an EV. I have a Mach E which had 0 sales tax, which is the way to go in NJ.

My local dealer said they would write a contract for $62k but they won’t cut me a check until the registration/title get sorted out

Every dealership i have went to has hit me with a 48k offer on a 59k msrp. The best offer i came up with was 51.4 with carvana and might be selling to them soon. Must be a Michigan thing with inventory being more here.

Is it a soft top? That might be why

It’s a black 3 piece hard top with cold weather

Any insight into how the new income cap will impact the lessor/ bank’s ability to pass the $7500 EV credit to the buyer (through incentive)? It has to throw a wrench in getting the credit if you are above the income threshold, right?

Thank you

The new credit right now doesnt look like it applies to leases.

It will be hard to prove the income with current lease setup. But if you buying then at time of filling your Tax return its easy to see the income to prove you will get it or not.

Ok some datapoints for my 2022 4XE Rubicon with $64.9K MSRP.

Local Jeep dealer # 1: 60K
Local Jeep dealer # 2: $59.5K
Driveo: $57.5K

Carvana/Carmax/driveway will have to wait until the car gets registered.

Anyone sell with carvana? They are asking for a maturity date to sell and ccap doesn’t have that listed anywhere

CCAP website lists lease end date under your account number.
@Bumboola sold his to Carvana a few months ago.

You have to look at the desktop site. It does not show on mobile.

I had a strong offer from carvana. They dragged their feet the whole way until the offer expired. Whenever there was no action on their end for days, I would contact them to learn that they needed more documentation, most of it ridiculous or redundant. Things like multiple odometer photos, asking me to make another payment to the account even though nothing was past due, and on and on it went. I did everything they asked, which was far in excess of other dealers requirements. Never again. While they were stalling, fumbling through their process, or whatever, I was able to get another $1k from carlotz. Thanks carvana!

Man thank you guys big save

Will see what happens they have given me the second best offer next to driveway who stopped buying from Michigan. All my local dealers including LC have been 47 and under

Also be aware that after the offer expired, I renewed it and it dropped by $5k. Stay on them.

How many local dealer offers did you get? It takes effort but I’d imagine if you expand your search you’ll get a taker.

Yeah i was told all information is good and they will teach out in 2 days

Most dealership now have inventory I’ve reached out to about 7

Yeah lots are filling up but seems like even non Jeep dealers are buying too. But Carvana should be an easy sale in the end.
