For CCAP payoff quote is it true that the sales tax line ($2886 in my case) is removed if you are selling to a dealer? Final cost would be the sales price + $350 purchase option fee?

Yes that is correct

Any chance someone could provide Rubicon numbers, please and thank you :kissing_heart:

Dealership quote will be different and wont show sales Tax.

Call them, they opened a ticket for mine and got fixed within a day or two… will have to go through some troubleshooting in the vehicle etc but will eventually be fixed on their end… they even followed up a few days later to make sure it works

Received a great offer from a local Jeep dealer and decided to sell. Sharing for others out there.

Order mid-December 2021 from DistrictLeases. Picked up in March. Sahara 4xe. Body color hard top, cold weather, advanced safety. MSRP $60.3k. 9.25% discount. 5,100 miles on it (and a busted spare tire from my wife hitting a curb) when I sold it today.

Carvana- $51.7k
Vroom- $50k
CarMax- $52k
WeBuyAnyCar- $52.7
Local Jeep- $56.5

So when you guys are calling up local dealers etc, are you blunt about flipping or do you dance around a little bit? Just curious what the actual wording you provide them is

Tell them you ordered a new color

I was able to squeeze out a bit more on the Rubicon. 60.5 on 63.5.

If you’re in the Tampa area and aren’t having luck, let me know. I will help if I can. I’m out; wife’s purple Sahara is on order and all is right in my house. My sincere thanks for all of your help, LH!

Data Point:
Sahara 58.2K Sticker

Current offer is 54K from a local Ford store. Should I keep looking or take the money and run?

its actually none of their business why you are selling. they’re either are willing to pay your price or not

Set up a time to take it in a few days from now and use that number as something you want other dealers to beat.

But based on the market that’s pretty good.

Is there ever any material price difference between Mannheim and adesa?

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I guess, they really only need to know the information about your vehicle. They look at data and give you a number.

april order $60k msrp sahara body color hard top no addons. everywhere online was $52k or below. some locals were even at $48k-ish. sold to a local dealer for $56k.

i even had to argue with a ford dealer who came back and told me my sticker was $50k. made me get the door tag to prove to him that his $48k offer was dogshit. for some reason my VIN was generating this alternate msrp and no one could really explain it to me.

Similar to the title of this thread, buckle up for a long read. But hopefully some good data points in here. Ordered a Rubi from Chapman back in December but after getting frustrated over no movement for more than three months, also decided to order a Sahara from Gupton.

Both ended up arriving at the end of May. Ended up with only one credit hit from CCAP for both leases. As you can expect, Gupton was amazing to deal with…while Chapman was anything but. I flew down to pick up from Gupton and had the Rubi shipped from Chapman.

Just sold the Sahara – here are the offers I had on a $58.2 msrp (HT and Safety) from high to low, Midwest region:

Driveway – 55K
Carvana – 54.6K
Clutch 54.5K
Local Jeep Dealer – 54K
AutoNation – 52K
Leasecompanion – 50K
Carmax – 50K
GMTV – 48K

Ended up going with Carvana as Driveway was taking forever and Carvana is just easy to deal with… sold an Atlas to them last year and it went smooth as well.

On a side note, I never considered myself a Jeep guy, but I really like these 4xes a lot more than I ever expected, so much so that I just sold the Odyssey I leased last year and am keeping the Rubi. I got a great deal on the Odyssey before everyone ran out of minivans last year but being a single dad with two kids, it was a lot of car…and the Jeep is just more fun to drive. It also helped that I received quite the equity check from that sale! Anyway, will leave a separate review on using equityhackr to sell the van.
