HOW TO GET A GOOD WRANGLER 4XE Deal; Buckle up for a LONG read! (Part 3)

I have a 2022 Rubi 66.5k msrp ordered in Dec before the increase. Sticker after the care was built was 68k and the same built on jeep.com shows the price for 70k. Anyways, I received a quote from Carvana for 52.5. Is this regional? or Carvana’s algorithm is all over the place. car has 550 miles. Will try some local dealers.
You got a good price.

I got 500 miles on mine now in 3 weeks time, some 400 miles on gas only freeway miles.
What are my next steps (I am in CA, got car from out of state)? smog first, if pass smog then go to DMV to get CA plates?

Where did you order it from?

i have Jan 5 order for HA, which is still not in production and dealer has no clue

Might be regional. I added 1200 miles since I last ran my quote and no price change. Still 57,7XX with Carvana. Sticker 66k pre-increase. Midwest region. 3300 miles now.

How long does it usually take for a Jeep to reach Clutch’s west dealer once it has been marked as shipped? The online tracker shows TBD for the delivery date.

Those who have moved Jeeps and gotten offers from @Clutch and @AutoCompanion - how do you start the process? I have my quotes from all other buyers but want to make sure I’m doing my due diligence.

Out of state, clutch dealer.

Dealer will say 3 weeks once it has actually left on the train- I had 2 go there and it was 2 weeks both times. They are really fast once it arrives and can turn the car around for delivery the same day.

You also need to go to dmv for VIN inspection

A third party will contact you for vin inspection form and smog certificate to process the plates, took about a week after I sent them the originals.

Is your car in the autocheck/carfax data base yet? If not it seems like the algorithm’s default to a lowball offer so that could be it too

What’s the timeframe for all this. I just have their plate (laminated) and keep in the car. I just don’t know what else I need to do.

You can go the dmv anytime but sooner the better, I got smog check done like after 215 miles and passed.

So, first go for smog test (most likely it passes), after that is done go to DMV?
What do I need to bring with me there, just the paper laminated plate I got from dealer?

I went to the dmv first not sure if it mattered. I took one of the forms they stapled that said keep in car it look almost like a purchase contract

I got smog check after 200 miles when the dealer recommended at least 300 miles

At the dmv there is like a drive through next to the driving test line not sure if that is the case for all dmv, I just pull into the lane and waited for someone to come out to inspect

There are other third party sites does vin inspection for a fee didn’t really explore that option

now that i’ve been officially ourismanned, what are the best deals going on 23’s? IIRC Gupton is down to only 8% off MSRP now. is anyone beating that at the moment?

There is less margin on the 2023’s so 6% off invoice is like 8.5% off MSRP I think but it all depends on the build for exact discount.

I know there is no acquisition fee waiver for August but what page is it on the Chrysler sheet in case it changes mid-month. TIA.
