Since its a tradein will you get saving on Tax.
Normally on tradein you pay tax on the difference.
If they give you 58k for 4xe and you buy lets say MY for 68k then you should be liable for Tax on 10k. But each state has its own rules some might give you the credit and few wont.
Hmm, Iām not sure you can realize the tax benefits on the trade in of a vehicle that isnāt legally yours. Iād love to be told that Iām wrong.

Has anyone actually followed through on a CarFax quote, did any of the dealers honor the quote or at least something close to it?
Will be attempting that at the end of the week. We shall see.
Similar to KBB where I got a lot of ābring it in and weāll seeā so I do think bait and switch is possible but if the numberās that good worth the try.

Nothing yet on my end. I indicated email as my preferred contact and yet received several phone calls, which I ignored, and they left no voicemail. The one aforementioned email lure that wound up saying they donāt want it. An email that said ācall me.ā And then a 3rd email that said āwhat car are you interested in?ā Sigh.

My first experience with it, the dealer offered me 11k less. Iāll probably leave that chase alone.
Carfax is a joke, I just brought mine to the local dealer and they offered 53k, Carfax was 61.4k. Not that big of a deal for me because the dealer is about a mile away and I was in and out in 20 mins.
Tesla offered me $52.5 for a 67k Rubi in May. This is a great offer especially if you can just pay sales tax on the difference.
My UCONNECT app doesnāt change (battery/location/gas) since my Jeep was delivered last weekend. Thoughts?

How imperative it is to send back the CCAP odometer reading after selling the 4xe? Iām getting multiple letters for one 4xe. I already disclosed to DMV and itās on the bill of sale from dealer that bought it.
