I think Rubi’s in general are a bit more rare to come by. The AN rep I had spoken with claimed they have yet to get a Rubi (4xe) in to sell. They’ve had several of the Sahara’s, and a HA or two.
Anyone else that ordered from Gupton have an issue with the name on the title.
It was completed “CCAP Auto Lease Ltd”
DMV is saying it should say “CCAP Auto Lease Ltd c/o Burningmustard”
Does this all make sense?
Why one adding all these options when you know from day 1 you going to flip. Seems to me these buyers have no idea of these options and what they cost. They just look at Sahara or Rubicon and offer the price. Said that I did the same damn mistake and add few options like HT, CW and Safety.
I dont think i will recover that money.
My car at dealership already under sale pending and dealer put wrong color and listed no options and use Soft Top instead of Same color hard top. Sale guy who bought it took for a small test drive in parking lot and have no idea its a plugin hybrid. He couldn’t believe jeep makes hybrid EV now. Within 2 days someone give them an offer with sale pending now
He selling for 4k more what he offered me.
CCAP got the payoff in 2 days and update my account to show the payoff.
Does Carvana buy leases? Is it just Vroom who does not?
Yes Carvana do buy leases
AN has many Rubis listed for sale on their web site.
So what this AN rep talking about.
There is more than one AN location.
They only have 9 4xe rubicon’s in stock right now
They have roughly 1 used 4xe rubicon for every 40 autonation dealerships.
I had to sign all the paperwork at dmv with ccap…c/o nic3456 but the actual title did not have my name anywhere - ordered via Gupton and I’m in OH
Would you sell a 58k Sahara right now and risk not getting a 69k rubi (‘22) in September/October ?
I am picking up my $73K Rubicon, but planned to keep it for a little while. I think there is still little risk in being stuck with it unless you are just wanting to flip in 2-3 months tops.
Ok you mean the rep at the AN dealership you went for final appraisal.
I sold mine to AN dealership also. What i found out once I was there was that sale guy just took info and run to the manager. Manager walks in and ask you what you want to make this deal today. He then mentioned the 4xe he just browse on AN site and 1 22 sahara with only 300miles with good options was on sale for 54k just 10 miles from his dealership. So he told me why should I give you more then even 54k. Rest 4xe were like 58k to 64k ranges with some of them have high mileage. I dont want to play games so i gave him my number. He then said oh hold on we cant buy CCAP leases. Let me check with AN first. 3 minutes passed the sales guy came running in we will take it. 56k was my offer for 61k Sahara.
Now what strange was how the hell they have same sahara on sale with only 300 miles for 54k at a closeby dealership…
When is the earliest we can flip? My Jeep will deliver this weekend (from LA to CA), do I need to do vin inspection and smog test, send to dealer, wait for dealer to finish registration before quoting around?
The 58k Sahara I have currently is barebones CW and HT. My keeper which is on order, is the loaded rubi. If I flip my Sahara now, I risk the dealership not selling me the car on order. So if I flip now, I’ll walk away with 7.5k ish. Or I wait, and the payment on the rubicon goes up, and I lose equity a lot of equity on the Sahara.
Similar situation but given the numbers I can’t justify the Rubicon I’m signing for tomorrow. I’ll keep my current Sahara that had more favorable terms.
Why you think by selling your Sahara now will cause issues with the coming rubi and the dealership.
I will definitely take that profit off the table and wait for the Rubi.
Because the dealership gets charged back, and I signed a document saying I’d keep it for 6 months
Lot of them are flipping in 3 months or 3 payments.
Believe charge back is like $250 or so if it goes that far. Its 3 month that 6 month wont stand in any court. But I am not a lawyer . But its your decision.
What I am saying is that I’ve had the Sahara for 1 month at this point. I don’t really care about $250 charged back to the dealer and I know they won’t take me to court. They just won’t sell me the Rubi when it comes in and I’m out my broker fee.
