What exactly is dangerous?

It’s one of the top 5-10 cars that retains its value extremely well

And everyone here is getting one well under market value

Sure not everyone planning to flip will make real money but it’s also safest bet in today’s market if you keep it

Tacoma for MSRP + or 6% under invoice on a wrangler? You choose

I guess it’s dangerous for those buying just to flip and don’t like to car if they are stuck with it.

I have yet to make less than 7-8k on any of my flips. So not sure how some are only making 1-2k. If you want to play the flipping game I wouldn’t order more than 1 at a time and also be ready to be stuck with it, Which I mean is prolly a blessing in this market the car is terrific. My thought process has been and will remain I am ordering ones I am fine with driving for the next 3 years but if I can pocket 5k+ I am selling and ordering another.

What is your alternative to B?

Drive a base Kia for the same price?

There is no better value/car on the road for this kind of payment right now. Period, full stop.

As always, people can choose to shop the car or the deal. Right now, shopping the deal is most important.

Then dont buy one/spend anymore time in this thread. Easy solution.

I have experience with both the Sahara and the Rubicon, and neither “drives like crap”.

Great to know! That will save time. I’ll try that today.

@nyhacker they really don’t drive that poorly. They’re also a lot more interesting than some of the other alternatives for the same monthly payment range. I wasn’t really a “believer” until the 4xe. I previously had a JL Sport a couple of years ago and the extra battery weight, power, and equipment really makes the feel more substantial. I will say, I logged a 5.33 0-60 and a 13.70@100.7 quarter mile time on my performance meter. Those time are actually quicker than the last G20 330i xdrive I had (13.88@101). Not bad.

Regarding the flip potential, I just want a different color and a soft top. A friend recently bought a regular JL soft top and it’s so much easier to get that thing off quickly. Even taking off the body color front panels takes a while (sticking them in the cases and securing). If it works out, no problem. If it doesn’t, no problem. I didn’t use Gupton or the other known dealers/brokers for my initial deal so the numbers aren’t there, but I would for a future deal, and I’m not really expecting to make a bunch in equity.

So what should we go buy instead

Have you driven the 4xe specifically, or are you basing this off of other wranglers?

4XE is one of the best driving vehicles I’ve ever experienced. I’ll give you that my friends regular 2.0L 2019 wrangler was a turd. 4XE’s are ridiculously planted.

exactly … that YOU will be happy with driving. You don’t speak for everyone, my friend. And this thread has over 4500 messages and more than just a few people who have ordered and taken delivery of it. Trolls gonna troll right?

I have been watching Brandon YouTube vids on his blue 4xe and it’s getting me excited whenever mine arrives.

They’re fun cars. Instant torque from the battery, 370 horsepower or whatever it is, really tight turning radius (better than my G37), and a ton of weight in the center and low from the battery packs which hold you down.

Not sports cars, but surprisingly good. They just make you and everyone else smile when driving. Especially when it’s a silly color :cowboy_hat_face:

Those aux switches are worth it to a lot of people who take theirs offroad. Really just depends on your market.

This. Mike hit it on the head.

You’d be pretty stupid not to lease this right now if you’re in the market to lease a new car.

This guy documents his experience a bit. Surely not the purpose of the car but it’s a decent party trick.
