Can you send details? - was it a lease?
Realistically, why would that matter to them? If they’re agreeing to pay a price for a particular vehicle, what does it matter who the seller is?
I’ve been checking cryptostickers and registered my VIN.
Is there any rhyme or reason to that info or is strictly off what users have inputted ?
I went to “all open orders” and I see orders in there for the future . I’m seeing order dates in 2022 lol.
I registered mine with correct order date of 8/21/21 and I see a few cars ordered after me (8/23 and some as late as 8/30) and they already have their build and window stickers…
I’m trying to understand how some cars have been built literally a week after ordering etc
The data on there is subject to accurate user input, and I’ve seen plenty that can’t input a simple date correctly. For example, two that have build sheets and window stickers found, but “ordered” yesterday:
Yeah that’s what I figured . Folks prob put in the current date when keying in the information.
It just didn’t make sense to me
I just skimmed through an article on that. I’m grossed out.
Yes, I alluded to this in another post here. Suffice to say, there is a ton of material out from the Davos crowd directly on what they have done and what is planned.
Car buying is never going back to the old model.
I hate to say it but I think you are right about car buying not being the same in the future. BUT instant gratification is such an important driver to car sales, so what I could see happening is buyers wandering into the showroom (not anyone on this forum) and ordering a 4xe set to arrive in 4-6 weeks but being given a “loaner” similar-ish to their vehicle, thus locking the transaction and providing that instant mental gratification that so many dealership shoppers need. The paperwork could all be completed on that dealership day, including trade in, and you go pick up your new ride when it arrives.
Mine was window sticker came just a few days after the built sheet was found.
Ordered 7/29 looking to be delivered hopefully in a couple of weeks.
Yeah I just checked with Jeep Chat and they said all parts have been received and vehicle is going into build mode (whatever that means) they couldnt provide a status code.
Ordered 8/21
Sting-Grey Sahara with One Touch top
Screw it - ordered a Rubi, hydro blue, adv pck, cold, same color fender, hard top.
Appreciate all of the dm/responses but I was mostly looking to see if anyone else has done something like that. I may be the first but I’ll check once the vehicle is at location and then reach out here if anyone wants to take it. Dont want to commit to anyone or get any hopes high until we know it can be done. Current build date is 09/10, so either this week or next week it’s getting built.
That means you’re in d1 status - check with your dealer for an estimated build/ship date.
In for details. Please let me know. I’d likely take it.
My Jeep I ordered from Clutch (Southeast dealer) just arrived at the port. Anyone know how long it will take from here?
ordered 6/18
shipped 8/19
arrived at port 9/1
arrived at dealer 9/7 [today]
looking up shipping costs as my schedule doesn’t allow me to make the 7 hour drive to louisiana from dallas.
also anyone have any trouble accessing their membership letter from access fund? I can’t find mine and no one from there is answering their phone…
Email them and they give it to you after few days via email attachment. They know you are looking for it for affiliate code.
Speccing right now. Y’all think the tow package is worthwhile? I will never tow anything with it, but that + the auxiliary buttons will probably be better with resale value.
Also, it provides a little extra distance between me and the next person that decides to rear end me.
Nah I don’t think so. I have it on my rubicon. Nobody made a big deal about it. Although I believe it does give you an outlet in the rear console which makes lightbars much easier. I would also think it might add delay due to more electrical work/Wiring.
A question regarding charging/pricing for kWh. I live in a condo building that has a Chargepoint station in the garage. With my 4xe on order now for 2 months I have been doing a ton of research. I checked the pricing at my garage’s Chargepoint and it’s at $0.31kw/h. Looking at some of the discussions it seems like this will cost me something like the equivalent of $5/gallon of gas at those rates. Am I off on this? It seems the 4xe might not be a good fit me on a solely economic basis unless I’m missing something and then I’ll feel stupid.
