F-150 Lightning... Reservation & Ordering Discussion

No, the $105k RST is in the Fall of next year. WT is a little over a year away.
WT - Spring 2023
RST - Fall 2023.

In spring 2023, the Silverado EV will debut a WT model offering GM’s longest range battery with an expected GM-estimated range of over 400 miles on a full charge. In fall 2023, a fully loaded RST First Edition model, also delivering a 400-mile range, will debut with an MSRP of $105,000 + DFC.

Thats fleet WT, more than likely some big business and not for consumer, my reservation says summer 2024

I have a WT reservation. My reservation does not say 2024.

Mine says not found . Ugh. but not here or there the poster does not appear to have a silverado reservation just a ford one.

Wonder what new reservations are at

Yeah their reservation system is terrible to be honest. If you got an early first edition reservation, you are looking at Fall next year. Reservation might say 2024 model year, but early allocations will be sold in 2023. Rumor going around is tooling will be ready before end of year and they might pull a Cadillac Lyriq and have it ready early. Lyriq originally was scheduled for Q4 2022 release, first deliveries are now set for Spring 2022.

I finally got into my reservation, it seems the email needs to be in lower case…go figure.
No date printed on mine, but you implied your reservation has a date.

The site says WTs are Summer 2024.

Just got email from dealer to watch for ordering e-mail from Ford …

Offset has never sounded so good. I am so hyped for my 392.

For anybody who successfully ordered, they are getting scheduled for production dates depending on the trim. Looks like Platinum and Lariat ER Models are getting scheduled first with the earliest date I have seen being April.

Production to delivery is typically a month for ICE F150s and I would imagine it’s similar here.

Rivian just announced an absolutely insane $12,000-$15,000+ price increase, even for people who ordered the truck 3 years ago. Praying that Ford doesnt get any ideas.

Just as GM sold off its stake in Lordstown Motors

I cant tell if this is good or bad for $RIVN LOL.

Rivian needs to actually sell a truck to someone other then an employee.

Why does Ford seem to be the only one able to get a truck off the assembly line and to the public?

Because they have been building and servicing cars 100 years. Tesla has shown how steep that learning curve is while trying to pretend it wasn’t.

The Hummer EV too. But the hype has really died down on that one for some reason.
