All $7Bn will go to a single hydro homie.
How many gallons of deer park can you get for 7 bill?
Check how the funds are being used in FL. Everything goes to FPL, who has a super strong union so it works out well. They’re very quickly installed DCFC at most rest stop on the turnpike and looks like setting up a program to work with property owners. But have no doubt they will profit HEAVILY.
Are you sure about that? FDOT seems to be running the show on NEVI funding. They already solicited feedback from parties interested in participating. List here: RFI Responses
Next step is formal “Request for Applications” in Fall 2023. From the that RFI list, companies include mostly private companies(Chargepoint, EA, EVgo, Tesla, etc.). FPL is also one of the applicants.
So article says Hyundai cut lease prices in response to Tesla lease price cuts:
https://electrek.co/2023/10/17/hyundai-slashes-ev-lease-prices-ioniq-5-ioniq-6-tesla/
I assume that’s from HMF.
Tesla EV price wars are good fur us.
By doing what? Decreasing the price, adding more incentives, increasing the RV?
Edmunds says the RV went up 4-6% but incentives / MF remained the same.
But losing the $2500 Loyalty hurts.
Don’t know exactly… just reporting the link.
I don’t think Supporter Calculator has history so I won’t be able to tell if there was an RV/MF change or an added incentive.
It doesn’t but just look at the previous month’s requests on edmunds
Just looked on Edmunds…and no major changes in RV and a small bump on MF. So that ‘slashed prices’ is mistaken.
There are a few sources that say leases in October for the Ioniqs are $50 cheaper per month. So maybe there is an incentive or discount?
$50? Might be the MF reduction.
2024 Ioniqs are rolling in. Maybe the dealers will start discounting the remaining 2023s across the board like they did with the 2023 Q4 etrons. 2023 EQBs are on firesale right now because they got beat up by critics for slow charging and not having standard basic driver assist safety features. ID4s are getting discounts as well since the 2024s will have a new infotainment system and more power. Even Tesla is passing the $7500 on the lease now. If you can find a 2023 C40, there are big discounts on those since the 2024s will have more range and come in RWD.
Paying a $1000 referral to anyone that gets me a hummer EV buyer this week. On the lot. Lease is around 1425+ tax.
119k so 5k over msrp.
also lost the $2500 loyalty.
California didn’t have loyalty on the SEL AWD, which were the most discounted because of their high supply, but I know other states had it, which made for great leases for current Hyundai owners/leasees. Looks like they dropped the loyalty on the Ioniq 6 as well, but they’re giving $7500 for cash purchases for all trims except the Limited, which only gets $4500.
I would get this if I could win the lottery.
Just for @Ursus . ![]()
Curious about insight on Bolts. Had a few dealers recently willing to discount with no add-ons. Is this just the market shifting or because bolt is done or? Wondering how aggressive to get…
I was looking into getting a Bolt… I think you can lease an Ioniq (or even ID4) for less and they both come with 2 years free charging. And they both have more interior space than a Bolt.
I wouldn’t really buy an EV right now… tech is moving pretty quickly.
