I have had 3 bolts and totally fine with them and kind of like the EUV even.
I don’t know. The Bolt was a great option when you can get one for $5k one pay and there weren’t a lot of other options, but almost every single EV is leasing better than the Bolt. Purchase wise, I would just pay a little more for the Model 3 which qualifies for the same incentives but is much better in every single way.
If you qualify for these two, then Model 3 would cost you like $25k.
But didn’t CVRP exhaust their money?
If you can’t get CVRP, then maybe leasing an Ionic 5 or 6, ID4, etc could be a better option with a one pay lease and possibly targeting effective $300/month. Even if you get $350/month, it is not a bad deal given the current market.
Yeah, $10k gets you so much more. I don’t understand why anyone would buy a Bolt when you can get a Model 3 for only $10k more. I’m happy leasing. If they still had the $5k one pay lease deals, I would get one for my dog so I don’t track dog hair in my Ioniq.
anyone have experience with the hybrids from Honda? finally got the cr-v hybrid deal wrapped up and they took it out for a drive. when you put it in reverse it sounds like you’re trying to summon an eldritch horror. its extremely weird.
Hyundai must be next levels of stupid to cut discounts. No one is going to buy their electric cars without proper discounts. They already saw this happen and the only way they could get these cars sold was to get proper discounts on them. Combined with their out of the world dealers, I’m sure this will be perfectly fine.
because buying a car is not always a purely financial decision. I know this is lease hacker and the goal is to squeeze every penny out of a stone, but sometimes a car is just not a good fit regardless of how cheap you can get it.
Generally speaking any EV with over 200 miles range will be aquetate for 80 to 90% of consumers for day to day use, yes probably want Level 2 charging at home. If you’re worried about road trips 2 or 3 times a year, just rent an ICE car. They are installing Level 2 chargers at my work, so it was a no brainer to go out and find a cheap EV lease(anything under $400/mo is cheap in this market), helps that Colorado is throwing $5k free money towards EV’s
Recently did a range test on an i7 50e and have to say I’m not unimpressed considering the car we borrowed was not optimized for range past pumping the tires up to 46 across the board. It also featured a less efficient set of wheels so that’s a factor.
240 miles on 2/3 of the battery.

Yeah the i7 is way better than the EQS… I feel like Mercedes needs to revisit what they consider top-end Sonderklasse. Especially that mega TV in the back lol.
And with the new loyalty leases they’re quite attainable for someone who wants a quality product that feels how it spends. The massage function (essential) are quite effective for those long hauls and the seats very supportive.
The jury is out on the theatre screen personally (I’d much rather have a secondary passenger side display like on the Taycan) but if you’ve got an extra $75/month to throw at it you might as well pick it up as a flagship feature.
It’s just too bad the i7 and the EQS look so damn ugly lol.
Hit me up if you think the i7 is trending like the EQS 450 sedans where a nicely optioned (non-strippo-loaner) 13 month lease can be $2k DAS with $650 after-tax monthlies.
