Deal on 2024 Porsche Macan

Offered a deal on 2024 Porsche Macan Loaner here in Florida. Here are the details that I know.

2024 Porsche Macan
4,500 miles
MSRP $79,000
$62,900
10K miles a year
39 month lease
$850 DAS for first month
$850 a month
Deal includes first two maintenances
I dont know MF or residual, wont send it to me so I can use it against at another dealership.

Any thoughts? It doesn’t seem incredible, but that is with all taxes and fees rolled into it.

20%+ discount looks very good. Good deal, I think.

Make sure they give you a porsche hat, cant drive a porsche without the swag lol

What are you benchmarking this against that makes it seem not so incredible?

I don’t have much knowledge, but I also thought this looked quite good.

OP, if you’re comparing it to the unicorn Macan deal from early 2023, that was on a much lower MSRP and was a one-pay for a 12-mo lease, I think.

I wasnt using that one, but this one here. I know its a unicorn, but it’s been my benchmark.

Ah.

I think Porsche normally include the first maintenance for free on all cars? How much would the second service be expected to cost?

I dunno… Does the dealer seem open to negotiating? Maybe offer 22% off MSRP and call it a day?

But, again, disclaimer: I have never leased a car.

What is incredible about spending $33k to lease a car selling for 62.9 plus 7% TTL?

So I am absolutely open to being told not to do this deal. Whats the better option? I dont want to pay $1200 a month to purhcase it. I am currently in a Audi Q5e for $550 a month, but Audi wants over $750 a month now for anything comparable. I saw the pre-negotiated deal for Cali that was on the front page, but it’s sold out. Tried sending those terms to a couple dealerships and they said not a chance. Talked to 5 BMW dealerships about both 2024 X3’s and 2024 loaner X3, but for new they are noth of $750 with something down and for the loaner, it was only about $10 off. Open to a great deal. But would like to stay close to $600 with nothing DAS, just like I did with the Audi.

Your deal isn’t terrible on the specific car, it’s just being in a new ICE Porsche CUV is more money than @Max_g would ever want to spend. And since he wouldn’t spend the money, he wants you to know how much smarter he is than you.

The quoted monthly you posted is very close to what this broker had on a more loaded Macan assuming the up front cap cost reduction was amortized over the lease term.

Maybe your time is more valuable than hunting unicorns, and your butt is more valuable than sitting in some busted-ass Equinox EV. So, I think you can press for a bit more dealer discount as @paranoidgarliclover suggested, and call it a day.

If you still aren’t comfortable with the price, keep hunting.

Much appreciated with the constructive response. Been lurking on the board for months, but down to the last 3 weeks, and need to make a decision. Going to try and press for the extra $1600 and then will probably pull the trigger.

BTW LuxConcierge just refreshed their listing page and the loaner Macan is still there. If that one happens to be in shipping-range of you, it’s worth putting on your list.

I saw that. But unless my math is wrong, I think I’ve got him beat on the monthly, if I divide the DAS over the life of the lease. Plus, thats at 7,500 miles and I am at 10K. Am I looking at that correctly?

If that’s your goal, I’m 99% certain it won’t happen with the Macan.

Pretty much every other luxury brand’s deals are going to depend on what conditional rebates you qualify for such as loyalty, conquest, Costco/Sams/fleet, etc etc and the ability to do MSD.

So knowing all that, what do you see in the Marketplace ?

I definitely know its not happening with the Macan. But I cant seem to make it happen on anything on the luxury side. I have been scouring @markeplace for months, and I cant find anything. Even if I can find an X3 for between $700-$750 a month with just first month due at signing, I still have to pay for it to be shipped from New York, so no real savings there. Once I add TTL, it always end up close to the $800 mark because I dont have loyalty or conquest.

Oh dang yeah I forgot you had 10,000k miles. I think the main difference will just be the broker fee and his Macan has slightly more options than the one you’re looking at.

I hope you understand that the Macan is pretty small. I had a Macan S for about 2.5 years and it was a huge compromise on size. It’s much less space than the x3 if you are comparing. It’s also got a pretty sloped roof in the rear for kids/car seats. But if none of that matters then go for it. The Macan was probably one of the funniest cars I’ve had in the past 10 years.

Summed up very nicely. Echoes pretty much every comment made as well.
