Deal Check: 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV Premium Plus $2k down ($2774 due at signing) + $774/month

I know the CX-90 PHEV is a bag of compromises, but for our primary needs hauling up to 4 kids locally on city streets, it’s perfect. We already have a deposit on Preferred, but another dealer is putting up a Premium Plus. Not sure we will bite on the Premium Plus, so looking for some help to see if any good. Offer is in Southern California.

I have a fully loaded Pacifica Plugin Hybrid Pinnacle that I can blowout that offers more space and is a better deal if you are open to hearing a quote

With the $7,500 rebate and high money factor, it’s typically best to do either one on 24 months.

I’m interest, can you DM details?

Im in California, in state deals only

Update: $2k due at signing and $696 for 30/12. Dealer is discounting $11k which includes the $7500 Lease Cash from Mazda.

I don’t think you have set up the calculator correctly. How much are they discounting the car? Is the rebate taxable in CA? Is the vehicle worth $700 a month to you?

I’m interested in a limited or pinnacle deal

$11000 (7500 in lease cash and 3500 dealer discount).

OP, look into this deal. We looked at the CX90 PHEV when our Pacifica PHEV (2018) was having trouble and couldn’t stomach how everything we cared about was worse:
Visibility
Ease of entrance for kids
Cargo space
Ease of loading cargo - the CX90’s hatch ends just below my belt while the Pacifica’s is below my knees
Electric range
MPG on gas

And yeah, Stellantis reliability and all, but Mazda’s first PHEV is highly likely to have some teething pains too.

(After we passed on the CX90 I saw one in the highway with stuff piled up into the rear window - and was not at all surprised because the cargo floor is so high)

Residual and MF are horrible on the Pacifica. You need some pretty extreme discounts off MSRP to make it a reasonable lease.

Still more expensive than what I got for a premium

My deal mid September in SoCal:

Premium PHEV
MSRP: 54350
Selling Price After Discount: 52053
Got the 7500 deal
Residual: 39675 (73%)

24/12k

$605/mo inclusive of all fees, taxes, dmv, etc
0 down aside from first months payment of 605

All in price: 14,520
